Great vegan choices - Edit
Great little gem of a place, it has great, different vegan options. I had the vegan buffalo wings and seitan escalopes with chocolate and orange milk shake which was amazing!

Muy buena opción vegana - Edit
Vine por recomendación de varios amigos veganos. Y ya he repetido varias veces. Sorprendentemente para ser un local no vegano ni vegetariano ofrece muchas opciones veganas, y son deliciosas.

Amazing ! - Edit
Fantastic vegan options as well as options for non-vegans. The food is great and the staff are all wonderfully attentive (and share samples of their homemade hot sauce if asked!).

Amazing toasties - Edit
I've been a few times and always love the food here, but especially their toasties, probably the best toasties I've ever had. Nice relaxed setting too.

Great - Edit
I love this cafe, it’s the best place for vegan roasties and the breakfast is really good. It’s a basic sort of place but friendly and comfortable. There’s often a wait for a seat.

Fine - Edit
Full vegan breakfast is always appreciated. The breakfast is all right, but can sometimes be dry, sometimes be too oily and never quite in between. However, there doesn't seem to be much variety with the fillings for panini, being heavily reliant on cheese.

Great vegan fry up - Edit
There were a few vegan breakfast options, rare to find a non vegan place which gives some choices instead of one set breakfast. I had the regular vegan breakfast and it was really lovely and filling.

Vegan breakfast - Edit
Their vegan breakfast is fantastic. They also do an amazing vegan steak pie for New Years but it is rather pricey.

Excellent vegan options - Edit
I love the Brooklyn Cafe. They do the best vegan square sausage in Glasgow in my opinion.
Read moreI usually get takeaway rolls but went in for breakfast and it’s a great wee place. We had the vegan tower with hollandaise and a portion of cauliflower wings to share. It was all excellent, the hollandaise sauce is *really* good. The portions are big, so be prepared to take some food home!
Pros: Best vegan square sausage in Glasgow , Nice atmosphere , Nice staff

Good vegan options - Edit
The vegan breakfast was huge and very tasty. It did put me into a food coma afterwards though (my own fault for eating too much). We have also tried the vegan burger there which was ok. Nice staff and atmosphere.

Loads of options - Edit
There are lots of veganised versions of comfort food that vegans used to eat in pre-vegan days, e.g. steak pie and mac & cheese. It would take several trips to work through the menu. It's been quite a change on vegan food from years ago and they seem to be really working hard on gauging demand and continuing to grow their options and value vegan customer requirements.

Had the vegan tower with hollandaise sauce and it was pretty good. I'd definitely eat here again becuase there's good variety but the chef seems to love turmeric a bit too much.

Traditional Scottish breakfast with home made Lorne - Edit
The big vegan breakfast is huge. Big slabs of home made Lorne and the fried bread was excellent and something I’ve not had in years.

One of the best breakfasts ever - Edit
This place does not do well to advertise its amazing vegan selection. We went for breakfast - the waiter was really friendly and helpful and the standard vegan breakfast was amazing. There were plenty of other options and lots on the menu for lunch and dinner too. Definitely come here for breakfast in Glasgow.

Daring Food Burger 😍 - Edit
I had the Daring Foods 'chicken' burger with vegan garlic mayo and omg! My omni mum had the spicy burger and said it was amazing and she would pick vegan options at restaurants from now on. Win! I'll be back soon to try the vegan lasagne.

Nice wee cafe with separate vegan menu. Not open very late most days so can be tough to squeeze dinner in. Staff are friendly.

Get the Vegan Fry Up - Edit
The Brooklyn Cafe has a great vegan menu, the pancakes and fry up are both delicious. They also have vegan empire biscuits which are great. The main meal menu also looks great but I've always visited in the morning and picked breakfast food. Staff are friendly and helpful and it's a nice spot. Would give 5 stars if I could!

Very nice food, but not cheap - Edit
The vegan menu here has more options than most fully vegan restaurants offer. The meals all sound like they would be very fatty (like a lot of food in Glasgow), but turn out to be actually quite nice and soggy with fat.

Only stopped in for a coffee and cake (turned into a hot chocolate) but had a look through the separate vegan menu and will definitely be back - great choice for breakfast/lunch/dinner and veg relaxed atmosphere. Staff were all lovely and food looked delicious - can’t wait to try out the menu fully!
