Permanentvegan options;tasty chocolate ice cream;colonial theme - Edit
I've been here a number of times. The vegan Give Me Chocolate or Give Me Death is usually quite good although occasionally they take it straight out of the freezer and the texture isn't great. Vegan Cookies and Cream is good albeit not quite as impressive. Very strong coconut flavor to that one so don't get it unless you like that. I don't notice coconut flavor in the chocolate ice cream. Super nice to have a great vegan ice cream option although I've been enough times that I hope they come up with a new one at some point. They gave rotating sorbets. These are fun but they are usually mediocre- I recommend sampling the flavor but they tend to have a lot of flavors that don't incorporate fruit puree, i.e. citruses. Fun to try but frequently an extremely unimpressive texture. Sometimes however they will have an amazing sheet sorbet-- still dreaming of the Mango Tamarind! Colonial theme is fun. They listened to criticism and added some flavors named for POC and women although of course it's still very unbalanced and is more celebratory of colonialism than some will enjoy.
