Expensive, basic food - Edit
This is a small restaurant in a very popular biergarten. The biergarten is absolutely lovely and the beer is great. This review is for the restaurant and its food.
Read moreThe place was full on a Wednesday evening and I had to wait a while to get a table. The staff was helpful and friendly. There were several vegan options on the menu, but mostly small side dishes and salads. There was no tofu, or soy meat, or tempeh, etc. You could add meat to the vegan side dishes. I had the Spitzkohl "main dish", olives, potatoes, and green bell peppers.
With regards to how expensive it was, it was all very disappointing. The olives and potatoes were completely basic, nothing special at all. It was also very little food. I left hungry.
The burger place right next to BRLO is much better if you want a proper meal.

Sweet spot with great vegan choice, menu with allergens listed available for ease and safety, and absolutely delicious IPAs.

L’endroit mérite un 5. Oui il y a de la viande mais la raison d’être du lieu ce sont les plats vg/veganes. Je recommande les choux de Bruxelles et leur jus sublime.

Good food, awesome beer - Edit
Shared plates menu that is vegetarian and vegan as standard but meat could be added as an option. We ordered a selection of mains, sides and toppers as part of the set price deal which meant we tried almost all of the vegan dishes available. Lots of strong flavours with fermented and pickled veg. Really tasty and really filling. Paired with a great beer tasting board from this brewery.

Very good food and beer - Edit
The food was amazing. They have a set menu, with only vegan and vegetarian options. Meat eaters can order additional very expensive meat to their menu. Everything was nicely served. Since it is a brewery the beer was also extraordinary.
