As of July 2024 all of their baked goods are vegan - Edit
This is one of my go-to coffee shops in the area. Friendly and funny staff, excellent muffins and cookies (all vegan), and their veg breakfast options are so delicious - I can highly recommend both the pancakes and corn fritters. They offer both pea and oat milk for their tasty coffees.

And the espresso is great! I appreciate that they had a gluten free snack I could eat.

11/10 worth a visit - Edit
Headed here with a non vegan friend and omg there’s such a nice vibe. Food was amazing - most options are vegan (including a delumptuous cookie) but does also serve animal products. The chilli was delicious. Definitely covered all bases for a vegan/non vegan inclusive group!

Strong coffee, good options - Edit
Bricks has awesome coffee, it's strong and rich and they offer oat or pea milk without extra charge. Their baked goods are all vegan (muffins and cookies) and there's a couple of vegan meal options. I had the corn fritters and they were pretty nice, came with different dips. The menu is clearly labeled with the vegan and vegetarian options.

Very friendly staff. They have nice vegan options. The Vuna Melt is very tasty. Also, they offer two vegan milk alternatives which are oat and pea with no extra charge. Excellent!

A nice option - Edit
Been here two times and have neither regretted it nor rushed back. I have a lot of options in this neighborhood already, but I come by once a year to check out menu changes. I like to support places that are making an effort to offer vegan food, which they definitely are.
Read moreI would say come here specifically to sit inside, given the road noise, or because you're really in the mood for chili and/or sandwiches. That stew as the other review points out is indeed pretty tasty and the bread is very fresh. The Vuna Melt didn't quite do it for me but the food is also not that expensive.
Pros: Friendly, Inexpensive, Central
Cons: Loud street, Average food

Cozy friendly place - Edit
I enjoy visiting this place for their great coffee and vegan baked goods as well as other vegan options. Their Chilli Sin Carne is very well spiced and filling. Also a great place for a craft beer. Sometimes they even hold vernissages and art exhibits as well as other events. Great place to meet expats and have stimulating conversation.
