Delightful place for lunch and coffee - Edit
Delicious avocado toast with fresh side salad. They had a brownie and cake option to go along with the fantastic coffee. Would definitely return!

Gorgeous cake and coffee - Edit
Popped in for a cake and a coffee and they had a lovely mini victoria sponge on the menu that was vegan. They only had 1 vegan cake option that day but after following them on Instagram it seems like they have a different one each day which is nice for visiting multiple times. Coffee was lovely too!

The Best Cafes in York! - Edit
During my trip in York I visited Brew & Brownie multiple times as the food was just so good. There’s two locations next to one another; the original and the bakeshop. At the bakeshop I had the granola with berry compote and soya yogurt which was the best granola I’ve ever had. My mum had the avocado on toast with no egg and no onions which she said was also delicious! The Brew & Brownie Bakeshop is the cuter cafes of the two and has more vegan options such as a vegan cheese toastie, banana bread, and plenty of vegan cakes on offer every day. The staff are so friendly and food is reasonably priced and all so fresh. The original Brew & Brownie has a more rustic interior and offers are wider range of food on the menu however, they had significantly less vegan options. I had the vegan avocado on toast which was so tasty and a really big portion! I also had the classic Biscoff banana cake which was amazing! I would like to see some more vegan options on their menu since their menu is quite big; offering pancakes and lots more brunch options. Both places are great breakfast, lunch and brunch spots if you’re in York though and I would highly recommend!
