It was a bit loud and chaotic as a first time customer. The cashier was helpful though and didn’t seem to mind my questions. The menu was clearly labeled with vegetarian and vegan options. Many more vegetarian options, but I thought there were enough vegan options, especially when compared to other cafes. I had a Made in the Shade bagel and husband had a Higher Ground sandwich. Both were filling and fresh. We didn’t love the pickle that came with the sandwiches. I especially enjoyed the vegan pesto! They also carry Lovebirds donuts on the weekends! Service was quick despite the many customers inside. It was worth the 25 minute detour for us.

Really loved this find! My partner and I wandered in while visiting a friend and there were a surprising number of vegan options for food and drinks.
Read moreWe ordered two of the sandwiches and, let me tell you, they were DELICIOUS. I wish we had a cafe like this where I actually live. Friendly service, unique options, decent portion sizes, and commensurate prices for the town.
Will absolutely go back during our next visit.
