Sourdough bakery with six types of bread which are all vegan. Classic sourdough, hippy bread, spelt sourdough, seeded sourdough rye, semi-sourdough baguette, sprouted quinoa sourdough. Full allergens menu available on website. Also sells some food and coffee with soy milk. Open Mon-Sat 08:00-16:00.

Superior sourdough with no additives - Edit
The cafe that was added next door to the bakery a few years ago offers a creative vegan something-on-toast option that changes each month - see Instagram for the latest. It's really nicely done even if at £11 it feels a bit pricey for a single slice (and personally I'd prefer it on their hippy bread 😊).
Read moreAlongside the loaves, the bakery's ready-to-eat vegan options have improved over the years. Recent examples have included a teriyaki aubergine focaccia sandwich and an Oreo cupcake. Arrive early to avoid disappointment!
Original review from 30 Dec 2018 (still applies!): Piping hot sourdough loaves fresh from the oven if you time your visit right - so squidgy they're hard to slice! Great for warming your hands on the walk home from a winter morning breakfast run. Hippy bread is a seeded delight available in two sizes and will last the week for toasting. Hope we can look forward to some vegan cakes and buns too in 2019!

This is by far the best sourdough I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten quite a few. So soft inside and not chewy with a great flavour
