Vegan gem in a small southern town - Edit
Now here in Paducah, after living out west for several years. Thrilled to have found this amazing family owned vegan restaurant in our charming downtown. 2 adults and 2 kids (the 3yo is the harshest critic)feasted on some of the best vegan dishes we've tasted anywhere. I don't care where in the country you're from if you are anywhere near Paducah KY you must visit Branch Out. The Harvest Bowl and the Coconut Shrimp Tacos that were the daily special were absolutely delicious. The above-mentioned 3yo kept muttering "yuuummm" the 8yo just ate, grinned and ate some more. Smiling, friendly staff a plus! Don't miss this place.

Delicious food in a small town - Edit
I've lived in Southern Illinois for over ten years and finally made it over to Paducah for lunch at Branch Out during our Spring Break! I had the Hearts of Palm Fish Tacos with a side of Indian Street Fries while my 14yo had the Quinoa Nachos. My 10yo had the mac'n'cheese and ate some fries that my non-vegan husband ordered. 😋
Read moreThe tacos were sooo delicious, and my teen absolutely *loved* the nachos so much that he now wants cashew cheese on everything! 😆 My daughter didn't care for the mac'n'cheese much saying that it was too "spicy". I tried a bite and thought it tasted okay. Not the greatest but decent. If they toned down the garlic/spices and upped the creaminess (like the sauce on the nachos), it would probably be much better/more kid-friendly. Looking at other pictures of the Indian Street Fries on here, mine seem to have been overloaded on the spices and weren't very enjoyable. The regular fries were great, though.
We each ordered a dessert to take home and enjoyed everything. The cupcakes and brownie were probably our favorites. I didn't see that they offered milkshakes (as a previous reviewer mentioned), but maybe that's a seasonal offering. They offer several different flavors of donuts every Saturday (several different donut flavors s each month), but we arrived late in the day... and they were all gone. Like most good restaurants, Branch Out changes several dishes on their menu seasonally, so we're all looking forward to another visit this summer. 🌞😎

Good food - Edit
I thought this place was good, not great. But for the options in the surrounding area, it’s the best you’ll find for sure. We got the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese which was our favorite thing we got. We also got the honee Dijon chicken sandwich which was fine but not very flavorful.

A staple - Edit
This place has been a saving grace! I’ve legit had every single item on the menu and have never once felt I was missing out on flavor and texture. I am happy to say this is the only place I’ve eaten in Kentucky where I’ve never gotten sick once. I have dairy and gluten allergies AND care a lot about animal welfare. Bonus- I’ve taken my Omni friends here and they have all had a wonderful experience here. Thank you for being such a gem 💎 and bringing so much love to the small town of Paducah

Preparing menu, odd choices - Edit
Service is pleasant and choices on the menu were refreshing. However, the falafel was not made of chick peas, with no indication on the menu that it was something different. Rice paper bacon was served burnt.

Awesome place. Friendly staff. Food is healthy, not junk vegan food. Prices are good! Also. They provide silverware, glasses and real plates. That helps a lot on generating trash with disposable things.

FIIIIRE!!!!! - Edit
I grew up in Paducah and now I live in Asheville, NC. Asheville is a Mecca of vegan dining and trips home always prove to be stressful due to the lack of dining options. Not any more. This place is awesome!!! You should open a location in Asheville. You’d absolutely kill it there.

Branch Out makes being vegan easy - Edit
Branch out was my first true experience eating at a vegan restaurant and I was blown away. Had every option in the menu multiple times. My standards were extremely high for vegan food at this point. I soon realized as I started eating vegan food in other states that there really isn’t a better restaurant than branch out. The colors the flavors everything 🤌🏻 I’d eat there every day if I could

Didn't expect to find a vegan restaurant while road tripping through Kentucky. Let alone a place this amazing. Vibe is great, employees were lovely. This was December 2020 that I was there. All of the food blew me and my friends away. Genuinely wish I was in the area again so I could visit. I tell everyone about this place.

Such an awesome little gem in a small town! - Edit
I was visiting a friend who lives near Paducah and she said she had a special vegan place for me to try. We hiked for 6 miles nearby and went straight to this restaurant. There are so many beautiful things to choose from that we ended up getting way too many dishes, and even took some beautiful pastries home. The next day, we hiked in a different direction, and still drove all the way back to Paducah to do it all again but with a bunch of different dishes. I really wish that there was something close to this near me! There is not one dish that I did not like.

Unexpected in Paducah - Edit
I had to drop some things in Paducah and was pleasantly surprised to read that this restaurant existed. They have an amazing variety of entrees, sides and desserts.
Read moreI tried the kimchi pancake and the Indian street fries, an odd combination of spices but I wanted to try both, as I don't travel to Paducah often. Maybe not the smartest choices to have before 3 hours of car travel, but I gladly accepted the potential for heartburn. 😁
The pancake was about the size of my face, kimchi cooked into the batter and piled high with sprouts and rice. The Indian street fries were wonderfully seasoned with cumin, turmeric and other spices. I think my napkin speaks for itself as to the tastiness.
It's not unthinkable that I would make the 2 hour drive from Nashville to Paducah just to eat here again.
Pros: Amazing number of options, Friendly staff, Incredibly tasty and filling
Cons: Limited parking in front of restaurant
