Classic Fresno vegan option - Edit
Glad to see the new menus are clearly labeled with the vegan options. Happy to have an Indian place in Fresno with easily identified vegan food!

Oily, lacking substance - Edit
I did takeout from here. The spinach daal was quite oily and watery and seemed lacking in both spinach and lentils. The vegetable curry was also oily but heartier. The sambar soup was thin and oily as well. It’s great that they have a designated vegan menu but this worked out poorly.

Delicious and authentic - Edit
Ask for the separate vegan menu, which makes everything way easier. Everything was absolutely delicious and far exceeded our expectations. We ordered way too much food, but have leftovers! The chutneys they bring out for the samosas were all our favorite part of the meal- we ended up putting them on everything we ate. The potato vegetable curry was great, not spicy, and was almost just like the filling of the samosas. The masala vadas we had never even heard of, they’re fried lentil patties and they were fabulous, definitely order those. The dal was also fantastic, but doesn’t look appetizing 😂. Overall, we would definitely come back. Apparently at lunch they have a buffet with lots of vegan options.

They have a vegan menu! - Edit
Instead of asking the waitress/waiter a bunch of questions, just ask for the vegan menu and feel at ease! They have potato samosas which are to die for. I would recommend getting that as an appetizer. At some time of the day they have a buffet, so whether you want to dine in and have the waitress/waiter serve you or you would like to make your own meal, double check on the buffet times.

very very good - Edit
We always have a hard time finding vegan food in Fresno. Well here it is. Service was excellent and food was very tasty with plenty of vegan options. I wouldn't call it nutritarian food but good tasting for going out.

Tastiest Vegan Food Ever - Edit
I went to Brahma Bull for the first time a few days ago and I was surprised that their lunch buffet has so many vegan options. Samosas, Pulugulu, Vadas, Sambar Soup, Veg Curry, Channa Curry, Lemon Rice, Basmati Rice, and the sauces were all vegan. Stay away from Mutter Paneer - it has Indian cheese in it. The staff even offered to make me a chapati and veg curry from scratch at no extra charge. The only dessert I was able to have was some watermelon which I was happy with. I definitely recommend this place. Will be going there once a week
