Sucht man ein Restaurant bei dem man sich sicher sein möchte, dass man das auf gar keinen Fall so gut zuhause hinkriegt, ist man hier goldrichtig! So ein kreatives Essen mit Liebe zubereitet und serviert, findet man selten! Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch waren perfekt. Wenn man sich mal was gönnen möchte, ist Botanica das Richtige!

Delicious food of outstanding quality - Edit
This small restaurant welcomes guests in a room nicely decorated with a lot of plants. I went there twice within the space of two days so that I could try more of their dishes - I really enjoyed everything I ate and drank there. The ingredients are local if possible and of outstanding quality as well as freshness.

If you get the opportunity, you should definitely try their carrot salmon from there. They also sell food to go.
I recommend reserving a table via their online booking system if you want to dine in.

I have to say that I was quite surprised by Magdeburg, and this place was amazing. I only had one meal there, and the description of "fine dining" might reach a bit wide, given that more than half of the mains are burgers and wraps, but what I had was amazing - a glazed beetroot with bean hummus and extra beans, including a great salad. Probably the best vegan meal I've had in a while. It was a very good-size portion of beetroot, impossible to have dessert on top, unfortunately. An absolute must-go if you are in Magdeburg.

Was here a lot and it was always very delicious. My favorite is the teriyaki wrap. It is a little bit expensive sometimes but worth the money because everything is regional and saisonal!

Am coolsten am Botanica finde ich die saisonal wechselnde Karte. Alles wirkt super frisch und bewusst zubereitet, was den Besuch fast schon ein wenig wie haute-cuisine wirken lässt, aber zum Glück ist das Personal entspannt und die Portion dafür reichhaltig genug😄

I just love Botanica, the food is super tasty and composed with love for detail. Balanced flavours, fresh ingredients and good ideas for the composition of new dishes. The decoration in the restaurant is very pleasant and creates together with the super friendly staff the perfect surroundings for enjoying your meal there.

Best vegan restaurant in Magdeburg - Edit
I ate the first time in Botanica shortly after the opening and I am in love since then. The food is amazing with fresh and tasty ingredients, many of them local (e.g. from the mushroom manufacture in Magdeburg). I am so happy that the burger are now part of the regular menu. The food is amazing, I can highly recommend the Asia Wrap but also the rest is great. The place is beautiful and it has a nice inner court in summer. The plates are super beautiful. The staff is very nice, once we even got a leftover cinnamon bun for free😄you absolutely need to reserve before.

Ich bin immer wieder gerne dort. Man wird saisonal mit neuen Gerichten überrascht und kann guten Gewissens alles dort essen, weil alles vegan, saisonal und regional ist. Außerdem ist es dort super schön eingerichtet und auch das Essen an sich liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein Rundum-Wohlfühl-Paket!

Wir haben uns gefühlt einmal durch die Karte gegessen. Besonders die Hauptgerichte, die ich probiert habe, hatten alle ihre ganz eigene Note. Auch auf glutenfreies Essen wurde eingegangen und eine Lösung gefunden.

Peaceful place, around ten easy mins walk f/ central train station. Food is regional, organic, plant-based. Nice drinks from German lemonade & alcohol producers. Do reserve a table, it might be full! Nice interior design. Food is very good. Staff is not outgoing as you might be used to from the U.S. but quite German and friendly. No references to actual botanica stores / voodoo at all; the name ist just a play on words. "Real" restaurant, no corporate nonsense. Lots of garlic.
