The full-day electric bike tour was a blast. Dietary restrictions were asked for when signing up, and though the website had a warning that they may not be able to guarantee vegan catering, the lunch included was quite good. I was the only vegan in the group, and got a lentil salad with falafels, frozen fruit, and coconut yogurt and berries for dessert.
The tour itself was through two vineyards with nice tastings and in the town of Saint-Émilion, which is beautiful. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the experience very fun and informative as a whole.
I was in Bordeaux on holiday and wanted to visit a vineyard. I chose this tour as it stated that it could cater for different dietary requirements. Our tour guide was Jan, he was very knowledgable on wines, and very tuned in to organic and biodynamic methods of wine production. Of the two vineyards we visited one was organic certified and family run and the second was en route to organic certified and had been awarded a pollinator friendly award. The lunch provided was vegan and delicious. We had a beautiful quinoa salad and vegan wraps, washed down with delicious red wine. All served in the garden by the pond.
