It was our favorite place to eat whenever we came to Matamoros! Their Burger was great, the coconut ceviche, waffles and whatever we tried! Nice teas and coffee too! Owner chef lovely people! What a loss for all vegan and health conscious people in the area 😥

Fue tan frustrante buscar el lugar en una ciudad en donde las calles no tienen los nombres. Cuando por fin llegamos, decía "de renta". Pésima ciudad. No vuelvo.

cuando vi el restaurante en mi matamoros querido no lo podía creer inmediatamente fui, que agradable sorpresa una chica dinámica y un cocinero súper!! que bueno que haya un lugar así en mi tierra. la comida rica con conocimiento de mezclas! solo faltaron los postres no tienen pero lo de más súper!!! bien por bonavida

My mother kept mentioning this new restaurant in Matamoros. Every time I go to mexico I just feast on fruit and veggies but never been able to sit down and a restaurant due to my dietary restrictions. Well finally we have bonavida. I hope they stick around and inspire other Mexican cooks to make great plant based meals. Now I get excited about traveling down due to the fact that I have an option! I had the golden milk and pancakes. Delicious! Hats down the chef and his sous chefs.
