Beautiful place. Amazing food. - Edit
Dragged my non-vegan family here last week. The food was amazing and the actual restaurant is really beautiful (and is also located in a particularly special part of Palma). The staff were lovely. My family are ambivalent when it comes to vegan food but absolutely loved the place. My very non-vegan Dad wants to go back on his birthday! Which is shocking but lovely news! I would say that the place is slightly on the expensive side, but (obviously) becomes less so if you only order a main course - something that I will bear in mind for the next time I go. Can't wait to go again!!

Super lecker - Edit

Day trip to Palma, Happy Cow comes to the rescue. Centrally located, I ducked in and got the impression it was more of a cafe/bistro so grabbed an empty seat. Waitress was very nice so I asked her recommendations. It was the set lunch menu, couple of choices for each course.

All in all a nice experience.

Great atmosphere and dining - Edit
Very cosy and comfortable restaurant with a fine dining atmosphere. Pleasant staff. The food has excellent flavour, presentation, and not thatb you would know it, it is all vegan. Great prices. Good idea to book ahead as it is a popular place, but it's possible to get a table by walk in.

Loved it - Edit
My wife and I ate here 3 times over a month and loved it every time. The four course menu had 2 options for every course, so we ordered them all and split them. All of the dishes were inventive and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend it highly.

Delicious and filling! - Edit
Bon lloc offers a fixed four-course meal with two options each dish (appetiser, starter, main and dessert). All options were seasonal and delicious. The food was homemade like, honest and simple.

Sophisticated dining - Edit
We loved the inventiveness of the food at Bon Lloc. One of the reasons for eating out at a restaurant is to discover things that you wouldn't do at home and we were delighted. Staying in Palma during a holiday period meant other veggie restaurants were closed and we went to Bon Lloc twice. Both meals were great. As starters we tried the pakoras and the beetroot ravioli - which was real treat and not what we were expecting at all. For mains we went for comfort food and had the seitan with parmentier (mashed potato), and the burger. Both were full of flavours and completely more-ish. Desserts were probably slightly weaker - panacotta; and peanut, white chocolate and passion fruit cake - still very tasty but not on the level of the previous courses. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout (although I do think there is a confusion when they say some items are for sharing: I think what they mean is that this is tapas style i.e. order several to make up a full meal, not that one item is large enough to share which is probably what we understand in the UK). All in all this was great experience. (For a very different rustic country-style of vegetarian food see our review of Es Ginebro in Inca.)

Vegan menu, no-hippie style - Edit
Althogether some 15 starters and main courses on the menu. We (two people) had vegan burger and seitan beef with mashed popatoes. Standard burger and seitan beef. Very tasty mashed popatoes. The main courses were not that filling, perhaps it would be good to have starters as well when dining at this restaurant. Attentive staff. Decent value for money with two main courses and two glasses of wine at 33 Euro.
Read morePros: Many vegan options., Relaxed atmosphere, not too noisy.
Cons: Rather basic vegan food, nothing that stands out., Annoying amount of lights, for example electric (!

Misleading but yum - Edit
The menu and the waiter's recommendations were rather misleading. she suggested to share the entrees (rather tricky with a soup and also with the 3 raw "ravioli"). As the soup was called Creme we expected it to be a dip which we could share. the mains were also rather on the small side (the canelloni was a single raw cannelono of one zucchini strip, on a small entree dish for 12.50). The salad or tapas could have at least come with some bread to fill you. When we get 2 mains and an entree I don't usually leave the restaurant hungry. The taste was good but not overwhelming.

Superb! - Edit
Some of the best food I have eaten in Europe. Excellent value lunch menu, with a total different vibe in the evening - best to reserve a table for the amazing dinner menu. Visited three times and enjoyed seitan, stuffed zucchini, pasta and some beautiful desserts. A must if you are in Palma.

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
We ate here for the menu del dia and the evening menu both were great. The day time menu is excellent value (4 courses for €14!) and was delicious! The evening menu - tapas was amazing in both taste and presentation! This is a not-to-be-missed place if you are in Palma!

Good fare - Edit
We had the set lunchtime menu. The food was mediocre to very good. Dishes were inconsistent. The coleslaw was smothered in mayonnaise, far too heavy. Soup too salty. Polenta dish very good. Yoghurt gritty texture, not good.

Excellent! - Edit
We had an amazing meal here. Dinner was tapas so we chose a few items off the menu- satay tofu, panzanella, pasta of the day (mushroom sauce), beetroot ravioli and peppers carpacchio. All were very tasty. The dessert was one of my favourite desserts ever- the 'chocolate textures with praline'.

Confusing!! - Edit
My parents and I visited this place for lunch. The place were filled with lots of people, but there was a table for us. And we didn't reserve a table.
Read moreThe waitress came up to us and asked what we wanted. She didn't even explain that there is a menu on the wall and no menu card. We were so confused. None of us liked the waitress but we figured it out and got food anyway.
It was so noisy and hectic. Not a place I would enjoy my food otherwise it was good. I kind of liked what I got.
However, I really like the idea of changing the menu every day - it's a bit exciting.

Stunning food - Edit
Absolutely loved our visit to Bon Lloc - service was wonderful from making our reservation to leaving, they were so attentive and asked about allergens without being prompted and we're really courteous of this too. We sampled about 7 of the tapas style dishes and they were all beautifully presented, wonderful in taste and incredibly filling and satisfying. A must visit for vegans if you are in Mallorca! Also lots of gluten free options and gluten free bread too. No gf dessert unfortunately when we were there but we were too full anyway!

What a fantastic place.
Read moreBeautiful Vegan food in a lovely environment. I had the seitan which was really tender and tasty. My wife had the burger which was also lovely. A special mention to the croquettes which were one of the best starters we've ever had.
Wine and beer choice was excellent and it was exceptionally good value. €55 for 2 x three course meals plus wine and beers.
We had a long wait for dessert but, other than that, excellent.
Make sure you book in advance for peak times because this place is super-popular.
Pros: Nice Decor, Great Food, Reasonably Priced
Cons: Slow-ish Service
