Artistic Chocolate - Edit
This place is really cool. Their bons bons are like pieces of art (with a price tag to match at $3.30 each). But, the indulgence maybe worth it once in a way. I have to say there are only three current vegan options (Pudge Frownie, The Rustler and Strawberry Balsamic). They have a vegan chocolate dinosaur and a cool record that are also vegan. They have vegan chocolate covered cacoa and coffee beans, but the girl at the shop wasn't sure if they were 100% vegan, so didn't try them. It's a great edible unique-to-Detroit souvenir. I do wish they would expand their vegan menu to match their vegetarian options which are incredible. My family were really impressed with their bon bons and loved the taste (Cake, Mustachio, S'Mores, Sticky Bon, and a couple seasonal ones). I enjoyed the Pudge Frownie and the Rustler was okay. Both were a visual treat, but didn't wow me. I think they have a lot of potential in the area of couture chocolate and hope they improve the selection for vegans.
