Bombay Spicy strikes me as a run-down Indian restaurant right next to the back exit of the opera Liceu. The so-called Indian salad I had was an ordinary Western salad, iceberg, a bit of onion (roughly chopped), tomatoes, cucumber, no dressing except for a quarter of lemon. Nothing Indian about it nor was it very fresh, for what it's worth.
The daal tadka was good. I was asked about the desired level of spiciness, and my requirements were met precisely. However, the hot rice was served on an open plate, which wasn't very smart, because it would cool down very quickly.
Very friendly staff.
