Probably best vegan food in Corvallis - Edit
While the title probably doesn’t mean much on the surface, Bodhi is a gem for this town that has almost no good vegan options. Everything on the menu is clearly labeled vegan or veganizable and they have some vegan pastries but they always sell out very quick. They changed the menu like 6 months ago and added more vegan options which is great. Great place!

Food good, experience not good - Edit
I asked at the counter what is vegan or could be made vegan and the lady did not know. She said the menu was "new" but it was clear they hadn't corrected errors from the previous version and it didn't match the online menu. They say some dishes are vegan that don't have a "v" on the menu. The employee didn't know if "v" meant vegan or vegetarian. And she told me what was gluten free when I asked what was vegan, a sure sign that they don't know what they are talking about since that's a different thing and not what I asked. I asked if they use fish sauce in their peanut sauce and she said "we don't use fish oil."
Read moreI got the curry bowl and it was big, fresh, and tasty. Easily enough for 2 meals. The outside space is nice to sit in when the weather is good. They have a big selection of condiments for people to customize their dishes.
And then they ruined the experience again. I waited in line to ask for a to-go box and she directed me to a shelf with paper plates and foil that I could use, or they'd SELL me a box for $1. This is a place that expects you to bus your own table so I almost asked if I could trade busing for a box, but I used the paper plate. Obviously plates work better for some meals than others. My friend's dish had more sauce than mine and his plate leaked in the car :-/
Pros: Varied menu, Food tastes good, Lovely patio
Cons: Not knowledgeable about their own dishes, They CHARGE for to-go boxes, Menu has errors, so use your best judgment

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
The Nearly Normal brunch dish was delicious. Vegan dishes and pastries are clearly marked on the menu. Service is quick and the cafe is cute.

Delightful way to spend $25 - Edit
I've only been in Corvallis for a year and I come to the Saturday farmers market sometimes and so I rode my bike in which is a lovely thing to do in the summer in Corvallis. It's like a park! I came to Bodie having never been here before and if you're looking for an experience to see your fellow corva salillians, this is the place for you.
Read moreI asked a worker for a recommendation and she said that her favorite thing was the acai bowl. He said it's a light meal but the most delicious. So I ordered the acaibo the peach kombucha and asked her if she had any vegan pastries left. There were a lot of pastries left but only one vegan pastry. That was a berry pastry.
I'm enjoying everything immensely.
The weather outside is a nice '70s breezy day with plenty of community charm. You can see folks from all walks of life milling about and enjoying their day.
Pros: Fresh made, Delicious, Cool Atmosphere
Cons: Few bakery options, Only 3 menu options, See number 1 and get me a French pastry!

Great Tempeh Salad!!! - Edit
Lots of Vegan options noted with a green leaf so it's easy to see. They have a great tahini cookie but you have to get there early for the cookie lol bc they always sell out.
