Pros do not outweigh the cons. - Edit
Yes, they had a couple vegan options. I unfortunately chose the wrong one. I got the vegetable platter. The tofu was swimming in grease. The side of black beans and rice was plain with no flavor. Other posters are right it is incredibly loud in there during lunch so you can’t hear a business conversation. Everyone is understaffed right now it’s aparent here because the same person that takes your order also makes the drinks which slows down the process.

Great Vegan Cuban Food! - Edit
I will admit that I am someone who hadn't consumed too much Cuban food prior to becoming vegan. But the Tempeh plate was excellent. It almost had a blackened type of flavor. The rice and beans to accompany it and the spicy slaw were excellent.

Love the Cuban influence in the platos of blackened tempeh, beans and rice, spicy slaw and plantains. Order from the counter, and then wait for the SCREAM of your name (it would be nice if they had numbers on the table instead of the scream!)

Would love to give 5 stars but since it has some meat dishes, I cannot. Delicious tempeh sandwich and tofu platos. Jicama slaw is divine. Word of warning - the portions are huge! Staff very knowledgeable about vegan and gluten-free diets. Delicious plantains sweetened with agave. They do not use honey.

They have tofu and tempeh sandwiches and boxes. Both of which are HUGE, but the box weighs like 2 lbs so you will not go hungry! I easily make my box last a couple meals. The veggie cubans are oil pressed and really tasty. I would love a couple more sandwich options but overall really delicious.

There is nothing more I love than having the regional food of a different country Veganized! I had the Tempeh plate here and it was delicious! So filling! The taste of Cuba, but minus the meat! Would love to stop back and try their Vegetarian plate and sandwich! Highly recommend you stop here. Professional hack: Order your meal inside at the juice bar, rather than wait in the long queue outside. Order at the counter, find a seat, and they will bring you your food! Would give 5 stars if they were fully Vegan.

They offer both Mojo Tofu (my favorite) and Tempeh options, either as a Plato (platter) , with rice and beans, or as a sandwich. Occasionally they have a seasonal vegan sandwich special as well. If you do get a a sandwich and you’re vegan be sure to order it “oil pressed” as they will otherwise use butter.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but the app wouldn’t let me because it’s not fully vegetarian/vegan, but the vegan options that they do have are amazing. I always order the tempeh plato, which is completely vegan and the portion size is huge. The tofu plato is also delicious, as well as their sandwiches. I always ask them to make my sandwiches vegan because I think they may use butter on them if you don’t ask for otherwise, but I’m not sure. But anyway, definitely one of my favorite places to eat here! It’s also really fast and the staff is super nice.

The food was so flavorful and creative! My husband LOVED the tempeh sandwich, and the Market Salad was divine with Tempeh. The Chili Lime Dressing does contain honey, but they will substitute the Mojo Marinade instead, which is great!

Bodega is a cute place on Central with a walk up window for ordering. You'll probably be eating outside at the tiny bar or a metal table, but this place is delicious. There are 3 vegan option and vegan sides too. Staff gets the vegan request even though selection is small.
