They offered a variety of options which was nice to see. There were choices to fit each category: appetizers, mains and dessert. The food was decent.

Took our friends from Chicago here for brunch and they loved it. I really appreciate the vegan menu selection. I enjoyed the cereal shots and vegan spicy hash.

…is the slogan Bobcat Bonnie’s has appropriated as their own sarcastic badge of honor - taken from a less-than-favorable Yelp review. Bobcat Bonnie’s has grown in locations and quality in the few years it has been established. This Grand Rapids location is no exception.
Read moreWhen I first visited this restaurant years back, the immediate reaction I had was that of a bathroom. Not because of any lack of cleanliness, but because they coated the restaurant in Bed, Bath, & Beyond-like scented candles. The smell was so overwhelming that the taste of the food suffered. I am glad to say that my recent experience was much better now that the candles are gone.
The menu has also been revised. It was revised in 2022 (so keep that in mind when looking at older reviews). Now, the menu has lots of delicious vegan and vegetarian options. I have tried the vegan big burrito and the garden hash.
The burrito is savory and rich. The wrap is toasted to give a nice crunch without a staleness. The fillings include hearty potatoes, tofu, and vegan sausage. It was honestly better than I was expecting. There is salsa on the side for dipping. My only change for next time would try to add some spiciness, then it would be one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had.
The service has always been helpful and cheerful for me as well.
I recommend Bobcat Bonnie’s for brunch with a group - even if it is a non-veg group.

Wonderful vegan food. They offer at least seven vegan main dishes, plus a vegan dessert, and will veganize anything they can.

They have awesome breakfast-type options and their loaded vegan tots are amazing. The "fish" n chips is also fantastic. The only thing I'd change would be making everything vegan 😄

Had the mushroom Philly type sandwich and it was mostly bread. If mushrooms are the main item in a sandwich they should be loaded up, not like they were the toppings for another sandwich and you just removed the meat. Also our sever kept reminding us that she was a meat eater and couldn’t answer any questions regarding the few vegan options on the menu. Probably won’t go back. They also have a chick pea sandwich, impossible burger (doesn’t everyone?) and tots.

Great options, not great service. - Edit
Hoping this place improves their service, because the food is pretty great. Unique vegan options, and a nice place to hang out. However, the service is pretty slow and not so great. I ordered takeout and they lost my order when I went to go pick it up. Not the end of the world, but I’ve heard from other people too that their service isn’t great. Hopefully it improves.
