Excellent pizza and more! - Edit
Excited to have an all-vegan pizza place in the Philly burbs! We got the Dante’s Inferno Fries, the Hot Son Chick’n Wings and the Great White pizza. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Everything my partner and I had was tasty: mozzarella sticks, “twister” cheesesteak, roast beef sandwich with au jus, and a cotton candy milkshake. The first 2 items were amongst the best vegan versions I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot!

I tried eating here with my boyfriend (I’m vegan, he’s not). The sandwiches we had were just not good, bad meat substitutes that tasted funny. The waitress came over without a notepad and couldn’t remember what we ordered, we had to repeat it several times (there’s a reason waiters use notepads). I think I had the worst vegan milkshake I’ve ever had in my life. Not creamy, tasted off in a way that I can’t describe, kind of like medicine or chemicals? The setain wings were fine, not great but also hard to mess up. Saw one of the cooks wearing a blue lives matter shirt .. while it has nothing to do with the food, it definitely made me not like this place even more. I think this place was have such high reviews since it’s the only vegan option in the area? But I have to say this was the worst vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to unfortunately. I really wanted to like it.

Everything I've tried here is phenominal. I have never been disappointed. Great customer service too- they are so friendly. Personal favorites- tomato pie, great white pizza, italian hoagie, and meatball sub.

A little slice of the jersey shore - Edit
Went to boardwalk vegan and had the disco fries and the jet star. Both were delicious. As someone who grew up at the Jersey shore, I was excited to find a place that offered vegan options of all my favorites, especially funnel cake and fried oreos! Slightly bummed that they were out of funnel cake mix, but definitely plan to visit again!

I come here whenever I am in the area. They have a lot of veganized versions of Philly area foods like cheesesteaks and hoagies as well as standard options like pizza, fries, and wings. I have had the Cyclone cheesesteak, inferno fries, and the sea serpent hoagie. All were great. My favorite was the cheesesteak. I’m pretty sure they use Chao cheese, the mushrooms in the cheesesteak were the highlight of it. I wouldn’t mind if they had some healthier options though. I also love that everything is vegan since it means I can just order what looks good rather than reading the menu looking for a vegan option.

The pizza dough balls were quite simply out of this world. Their “cheese” may legit be the best vegan cheese I’ve ever had. The salad was plentiful and delicious. The pretzels were on point. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The owners were so pleasant and delightful! Very helpful and guiding me through the menu. I had the margarita pizza, the twister, a milkshake, and the funnel cake. I definitely took home enough leftovers to feed me for the next three days. Vegan “comfort” food never tasted so good!

Our Meetup Group went to Boardwalk Vegan for dinner. Molly was so kind and set our table up perfectly. The food - amazing. The staff - amazing! I had the Surfside Crabcake Sandwich with Pincher Fries (fries with Old Bay). YUM!! I also sampled the funnel cake, and fried oreos - TO DIE FOR! You know I had to order a white pizza to bring home and it is the BEST VEGAN WHITE PIZZA I have ever had. Got a Vanilla Sky milkshake for the ride home.

We were blown away by the food! The portions were about double what we were expecting, so we ended up with a lot of leftovers. The cheesesteak and Dante’s inferno fries were incredible! There are only two tables inside, so it is probably safer to order for takeout or plan to wait for a table.

We expected to be put on a wait list, but the server turned around and stared at the table behind them until the other diners said they’d be leaving soon and offered us the table. The check has a QR code that prompts you to pay online and then just leave, and when I did exactly that, I was yelled at on my way out for “not paying”. But the food was so good that I don’t really care. 🤷🏻♀️ Would 100% return.

We were stuck in traffic on our way to a show but determined to eat here on a dark cold rainy night. We called ahead, and they had our food ready for us to sit down and eat, so wonderful! White pizza, mozzarella sticks just like I used to get at Red Lobster, and a very traditional and large Caesar salad would not be discernible from the animal versions.
Read moreOwner came out to check on us and was very sweet. We ordered more things to take home, wings and a cheese steak, plus our leftovers. There was tons of takeout going on here. People in this neighborhood are lucky. I think this could be a successful franchise all over the country. I can't wait to try more of their thin crust pizza. Their cheeses are incredible.

Food was excellent. Service was wonderful. My hubby & I took his non-vegan dad. He loved it. He had the Super Scooter Smash & are every piece. Hubby had The Cyclone (cheesesteak) & the fresh made lemonade. I had The Spicy Seagull. All dishes were large and had great flavor. Loved that we could get old bay seasoned fries. Truly a great experience. We went back to try the pizza. Got the Great White. It was AMAZING!!!!

We went in to try their white pizza and inferno fries. Both were very tasty! The pizza was not greasy at all, and the toppings on the fries were cooked perfectly. There's so many options on the menu, it's great. I can't wait to try more.

I ordered food via Slice app. The app alerted me that my order was ready ~30 min after placing. So I drove over to the restaurant and went inside to pick up. There were a couple employees inside who saw me, made eye contact, and ignored me. I waited a few minutes and then got someone’s attention and told them I was there to pick up my order. They said, “Sure, I’ll check on that.” Ten minutes pass. I asked again, this time a different person because the first person had disappeared. The second person says, “Sure, I’ll check.” 20 minutes pass. I ask a THIRD person. Same deal. Finally I get my food 40 minutes after arriving, 50 minutes after the app said my food was ready, and 80 minutes after placing the order.
It’s really too bad, because if they had any sense of management and control over their operations I’d get takeout from them all the time. But I’m not about to wait outside for 40 minutes again while they prepare an order that was supposedly ready nearly an hour earlier.
I recommend trying this place because the food is excellent, but pay for delivery and order two hours before you want to eat.

We were visiting family in Havertown, and searched for vegan places near by. My husband and I walked into the shop at 5:15pm tonight, not knowing that they closed at 5pm on Sundays. The staff were apologetic that they were closing up, but offered to make us food to go. We refused at first, but the woman behind the counter insisted that it was no problem, and began running off a list of items they could make for us quickly. We saw that there was another couple finishing their meal, so we agreed to get vegan Italian hoagies to go. The sandwiches were outstanding! I was so impressed with the hospitality of the staff, and cannot wait until we can get back there again. Next time, I will be mindful of their hours!😄

This place was an unexpected delight! We got the lemonade to start; freshly squeezed and the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I ordered the Twister and garlic knots, and my friend got the Doo Wopper and fries. The portions were massive, and the food was so tasty that we wished we had more room (or the ability to bring leftovers on the road). If I'm ever nearby again, I'm coming back!

Everything on the menu is vegan, even vegan coffee creamer options and raw sugar packets! The food was excellent and totally satisfied my comfort food cravings. It definitely compared to greasy boardwalk food except it WASNT greasy. Yay! The customer service was excellent, and I will certainly be visiting this cute little restaurant again!

We have been to boardwalk vegan several times. They make a good pizza and their fries are really the best. They have a great selection and of course it’s all vegan. The vibe in the kitchen is a bit interesting. Very down to earth or maybe just DelCo? A little rough around the edges. For takeout we’ve had missing items a couple of times that we haven’t figured out until we get home. Those things leave this at less than five stars for me.

I am sorry you had a bad experience at the restaurant however I am there every single day and not once have I ever heard a member of our team be rude to a customer. In fact just the opposite, there have been times when my staff could have been rude and chose not to be. Perhaps you mistook the loud happy atmosphere we usually have as rudeness. I would encourage you to ask for one of the owners should you experience that again so it could be dealt with in real time instead of after the fact. I am happy you enjoyed the food!
