It’s great that they have clearly marked vegan options, especially in a place that boasts about its steaks. I had a salad with quinoa and asparagus that was not memorable but not terrible. Staff was friendly.

Yes, the options here are limited, however, this town seems very traditional so we weren’t expecting the area to be very progressive with vegan food options. We selected here as there was at least cauliflower wings to start and a burger for main (pretty standard vegan faire but the cauliflower was genuinely the best I have ever had, the burger was good, we both upgraded to the garlic fries which were amazing!!) the view is also one of the greatest in town, you are literally on the edge of lake Windermere and it the weather is good you can sit outside upstairs which is stunning! Worth a visit just for that, if you can bear to have yet another vegan burger!

Un-creative vegan options - Edit
Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great that this place offers vegan options but there’s nothing on the menu that is inventive or different, they’re all low cost, easy to make options. The stuffed pepper was good, just lacking a bit of flavour. The staff were very very friendly and attentive, they really made the experience fantastic

wanted the vegan burger but they had ran out of buns, however the cauliflower steak was delicious! portion was a bit small and overpriced but very flavourful. had waffle fries as a side which were delicious.
