Serves meat, vegan options available. Standard sushi menu with a few choices. Offers beer, wine, and sake at the bar or table service. Open Mon-Sun 5:00pm-11:00pm.
The non-special veggie was very god, the red pepper and inari made it something nicer than vegan rolls at other restaurants. Got 3 rolls for the two of us, wish I got 4.
We got the veggie bling roll which was vegan by default. They were super accommodating and made us vegan-versions of miso soup and poke bowl. Delicious!
I would rate 5 stars if HappyCow allowed it (because it’s not a fully vegan restaurant). Even though the options are limited to veggie rolls and seaweed salad, the veggie maki has a lot of vegetables and inari included. And the chef is very knowledgeable about vegan ingredients and allergies. Coconut aminos are available to those with soy allergies! I’d recommend the veggie maki over the specialty veggie roll because it’s more expensive but the same ingredients as the maki. Either way, I really enjoyed the sushi
Fine food but expensive and small portions. - Edit
Owner and wait staff so friendly, menu is well marked, food tasted fine. But expensive for minimal portions and left hungry. Didn’t want to add to the expense by getting more small portions.
I usually avoid sushi places, but this place was great. Went with a mixed group and had to fight them for my vegan rolls. Chef is very nice. It's BYOB but you can buy cocktails next door, which are all vegan (aquafaba instead of egg whites, agave instead of honey).
My wife and I ate hear while vacationing in Ogunquit. There aren't many veg options in the small town, so it was great to find this sushi place. The menu has a number of veg options, but we just asked for a chef's choice vegan platter and were not disappointed. Everything was nicely arranged and fresh, and the chef even brought out a few sweet potato sticks for our baby.
