Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

A must visit! - Edit
We visited bistro verde for dinner.
Read moreAmazing quality vegan dishes - we’d recommend the oyster mushrooms with garlic aioli small plate and the spaghetti carbonara. You will not regret it!
If we were in Copenhagen for longer we’d definitely be going back for more.

Unfortunately mediocre brunch - Edit
Went for Sunday brunch and was unfortunately disappointed. The good parts were the kind and welcoming staff and the cozy atmosphere. It was really too bad that the food lacked flavor and finesse. I liked the tofu scramble and the raspberry jam. The pancakes were a bit chewy, the sausages were flavorless, and the fruit wasn’t ripe.

Pros: Friendly staff, Cozy atmosphere , Good portions
Cons: Very bad sausages, Unripe fruit, Rubbery pancakes

Negative Experience - Edit
Was really looking forward to going here for a bite to eat today. Me and my girlfriend walked in at 15:45 and were seated, told they needed the table back at 5, no problem looked at the menu and decided what we wanted. A large group walked in at about 15:55 and were seated nearby to us. I tried to catch the attention of the staff without luck. At 16:05 the waitress went and took the entire order for the large group that arrived after us despite the fact they were still looking at the menu. At 16:10 we got up and left. It’s not fair to tell people you need a table back at a certain time and then completely ignore them and don’t even take their order for 25 minutes.
Read moreVery poor service. Shame as the place looked nice and the vibe was good. Very poor service.
Cons: Extremely poor service

Beautiful venue, with lovely staff and quality food.
Read moreWe were there for restaurant week, which meant a more limited menu was operating — which was a shame because we would have returned for different evenings on our trip otherwise, but the food we had was spectacular, a must visit for Copenhagen.

Visited several times - good, but overrated - Edit
In a city with few vegan only restaurants, one is hesitant about not writing a 5 star review.
Read moreI have visited place several times for lunch and dinner.
The menu comprises some obvious things (poke bowls, salads, burger etc) and a few less common things (meatballs). The food is good quality. The flavours are a little bland for my liking but in line with the typical ‘Nordic’ cuisine.
The place is quite expensive, even for Copenhagen. A 75cl bottle of water was 50DKK, for example.
MADE A CORRECTION IN RESPONSE TO RESTAURANT’S FEEDBACK. I MADE AN ERROR REGARDING THE PRICE OF THE SANDWICHES.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I am a bit sad about the 3 stars, so id like to just clarify a few things :)
Read moreYou can have tap water, it is 100% free which is unusual in Copenhagen. It even says FREE in the menu, it is not hidden. Bottled water is expensive, we have to pay xx and then of course mark up to pay salaries, rent, insurance, heating, water, electricity etc.
Our sandwiches cost 80 or 90 DKK depending on which you order.
Come back and have a look at the menu and give us another chance, if you want a bit of a kick to your food let us know when ordering and we can add some more flavour.. We do have to keep the "standard" in a range where most people can keep up though.
Thanks for the support and hope to see you back!

Very tasty - Edit
Had a lovely dinner here, where we shared a couple of main courses between us. Their carbonara was one of the most „realistic“ I’ve had, really good! And the burger was so juicy and very delicious. They were running a reduced menu on the evening that we visited, so I’d be keen to go back when the full menu is on.

Delicious! - Edit
We went here for the first time yesterday, and it won't be the last! Everything was delicious and super fresh. We got the grilled panini, the BLT, Hakuna Patata, and a Caesar salad (which didn't taste much like a Caesar, but was still yummy). The atmosphere is very cozy and comfy, and our server was super 😀

Good food, great location - Edit
We had the only two dishes that I found sort of interesting: the Frikadeller (Danish meat balls) and the Farmer's stew. Otherwise, they had a Caesar's Salad, a couple of Buddha Bowls and a burger.
Read moreBoth were yummy, but I preferred the meat balls and its accompanying potato salad.
The stew was lacking some salt (but that was easy to fix).
For desserts, we had the praliné (which was actually just coconut coated with chocolate) and the Flødebolle (made by Glean bakery). We would have liked to try something more creative (there was also a carrot cake, a raw cheesecake and an affogato).
The service was fantastic, and the location is perfect.
Pros: good food, great location, good service

Christmas Dinner - Edit
We stopped in here just before they closed for their Christmas break. Indulged in the three course Christmas Dinner. The first dish was an open faced sandwich (smørebrød) with two types of vegan fish and a remoulade. Second dish was a seitan meatloaf with jam and gravy, roast potatoes and green beans. The roast was good, the green beans were amazing. Final course was a risalamande. The whole meal was great.
Read moreMy wife had the oyster mushroom small plate, that was fantastic. Cornmeal crust that was so good. And followed that up frikadeller classic, which was good - but she had hoped that it would have had some sweet element to round out the plate. If they hadn’t closed for Christmas we would have gone back again.

Nordic options, but lacks flavor - Edit
Decent food with a few traditional Nordic options. This is the first place in Copenhagen I’ve seen with a solid vegan take on local dishes.
Read moreI tried the winter stew and Buddha bowl and both were nice, but lacking in flavor. The Buddha bowl was better flavor wise. It’s mostly raw veggies, and the Brussels sprouts at least were tasty. The stew was what really fell flat. I did still really enjoy a warm stew on a chilly winter evening, but it really needed at the very least some salt.
I also tried the traditional Christmas almond rice pudding (rislamande) and found it to be the worst out of the 5-6 vegan ones I’ve tried so far (lacked flavor and cherry sauce. The texture also felt like eating whipped butter with overcooked rice in it—not pleasant).
Overall, it’s not a bad spot and I’d recommend it if you’re on the search for nice vegan food in central Copenhagen. I personally would not mind returning, but it won’t be at the top of my list.
