Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Cozy atmosphere in the city center. Staff is polite and the menu offers a good variety of dishes.We had the notella bread and came later to try the salmon sandwich (take away). It was fulfilling and tasty!

I’m grateful to Happy Cow for highlighting this restaurant. We went twice during a four day visit to Copenhagen. Best spaghetti carbonara and mushroom gnocchi since we became vegan over five years ago. Great menu, beautifully cooked and great taste. It was busy on the second visit, so I’d book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Staff were excellent and knowledgeable. Food was great. Everything from Danish pastries and coffee to full meals. Open from 11.30am until 10? I had a poke bowl which was delicious, it had bbq mushrooms in it. My sister had the spaghetti carbonara and loved it and she is an omni. Went twice in the same day! Will definitely go again when I am next there.

delicious main dishes but old (?) pastries - Edit
The main dishes were sooo delicious. We had the spaghetti carbonara and some meatballs with potato salad. As nearly everywhere in denmark the food was expensive but ok for how good it was. Afterwards we had some pastries which were slouchy and we had the feeling they were from yesterday or so.. in my opinion they werent worth the price but maybe we had just some bad luck with them cause the rest of the food was really really good.

Great, friendly and helpful staff who make you feel really welcome. The food was delicious and interesting, everything was great. I highly recommend a visit. You can try traditional danish dishes, but with vegan ingredients. Great coffee and finally a little cookie you can eat with it „even though you‘re vegan“!

Had the grilled panini and Caesar salad. Both were delicious and hit the spot. Olives and walnut in the salad were a nice touch. Tofu in the salad was perfect. Surprisingly good vegan cheese in the sandwich, even my skeptical partner who is not a fan of non-dairy cheese liked it. Topped it off with a carrot cake with vanilla ice that is enough for two people.

Hidden little gem in Copenhagen. We would have walked right passed it, if it weren't for the suggestion we got to go here. Had a very good time and perfect dinner. Regular dishes with a vegan twist.

If you are in Copenhagen during the weekend, take your time to go to this place to have the brunch plate, totally worth it. I also had dinner and although I did not particularly enjoyed the traditional frikadeller danish dish, the quality of the food was good and the staff are friendly and nice.

Bistro Verde is by far my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen and an absolute MUST if you're visiting the city. The weekend brunch plate has a little bit of everything and is a very Danish thing, lunches with open faced sandwiches, salads, soups. And the lunch/dinner menu has got something for everyone. I love the carbonara, I end up getting it almost every time. I've heard the burger is amazing too. Ooooh and the desserts are out of this world. It has a good variety to meet what you might be in the mood for that day. And the location is perfect for anyone visiting the city.

Bistro Verde feels warm and welcoming from the get-go, all earth tones, macrame, funky posters and natural materials. I had the carbonara, it was delightful, very rich and creamy. The portions aren't massive, so I kinda wished I ordered a starter, too - if you're very hungry, I'd recommend doing that. Service was attentive and friendly, and the prices are reasonable (for Copenhagen).

Really enjoyed our visit. We opted for an early dinner and were able to walk straight in and find a table. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. I had the Frikadellen "meat" balls and my wife had a mixed bowl with bbq mushrooms. It was clean, well presented, and very tasty.
