Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Everything is vegan and really tasty. We had the Cabinara, the steak and the bowl and it was really good. The lemonades are also highly recommend. The staff is very friendly

Tolle Lage aber sehr teuer - Edit
Das Essen dort hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und der Burger sowie dessen veganes Fleisch waren super. Dafür hat er aber auch umgerechnet 25 € gekostet, was ich schon auch für Kopenhagen sehr teuer finde. Dafür gab es auch dort kostenloses Wasser und man hat ja keine zusätzlichen Ausgaben für die Getränke. Wenn man jedoch noch Getränke möchte, dann kann es noch teurer werden. Ansonsten ist die Lage aber sehr schön mitten am Hafen und man kann sehr nett draußen sitzen.

Amazing vegan spot in Copenhagen - Edit
Fantastic food. Went with 4 non-vegan friends and they all loved it. We shared the oyster mushrooms and broccoli (small plates) and I had the carbonara and cheesecake for dessert. My friends had the gnocchi and burger which they all agreed was great! Definitely worth visiting. Friendly staff and nice seating area as well!

This place sounds awesome. But after 2 visits I left disappointed both times. The food was actually poorly presented, not very fresh, and a rather strange mix of apparently packaged ingredients and liberally doused in off the shelf seasonings. It's no longer enough just to provide "OK" food and rely on vegans being happy just because it's vegan. So much promise, not quite there with delivery...but maybe I was just unlucky.

I guess everything in Copenhagen is extremely pricey, however the culture shock hasn’t worn off yet. The oyster mushrooms which were a starter were roughly $20 AUD and the carbonara was roughly $40 AUD. If it was even like 20% cheaper Bistro Verde would have gotten 5 stars from niki_nine.
Read moreNow I’m a sucker for oyster mushrooms, especially those of the deep fried variety. They were crunchy on the outside and had the perfect amount of bite on the inside. This isn’t really that hard to get right, but it did hit the spot as always.
The carbonara was light and creamy, and not too overpoweringly cheesy. Very good to be fair. Portion sizes would have been satisfying if we got a normal amount of food.
The staff were lovely and gave us blankets because we were sitting outside and it was cold.
On one hand I fee harsh penalising a place for being so expensive, but at the same it wasn’t mind altering, and this is kind of what I expect for a $40 carbonara.

Hi friends, I know price is always sensitive - this is fair. We are however around 20-30% cheaper than all neighbouring restaurants where a beer cost 85 (ours 60-65 DKK) and main courses 250+ (ours 160 DKK). This is a prime location, the most expensive in Copenhagen more or less, so we need to price after that due to rent as well. Besides that we also pay our staff more than minimum wage and donate some proceeds to animal charities. Even with a full restaurant we only just make the wheels turn - Denmark is an expensive place😄We will consider adding some options which could be more price-friendly, it should be an inclusive place for all! Thanks again for the feedback!

I was there last year and we had nachos as a starter and then a main meal with dessert. It was really delicious and I enjoyed it a lot! The desserts were a bit dry but still good. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was a really good seller!

My friend and I LOVED this vegan restaurant in the heart of the city. Always busy but always found a seat, great and friendly customer service, and the menu is to die for! Tried several dishes for breakfast and lunch and went there three days in a row!

The first times I went my impression was excellent. Overtime they have adjusted the menu and removed some dishes (like the gnocchi with a creamy mushroom sauce) that were a bit more special. I liked it so much that I have returned several times and the last few times I have experienced mistakes in my order or found inconsistencies in the quality of a dish that I had ordered before. I still would recommend it, but it wouldn't my first choice.

Surprisingly I have really struggled to find nicer vegan dinner options during my trip in Kopenhagen. Bistro Verde was close by and the mushroom Gnocchi were nice and creamy! Nothing super special but a good homely meal. Didn’t get to try anything else from the menu unfortunately.

Bistro Verde serves amazing food for all people. I have been there multiple times and they never let down on both the quality and taste of the food they offer. This time, I had two different variants of their smørrebrød, a classic Danish lunch dish. Amazing! I had a potato one and a vegan salmon one. I have never tried a better vegan salmon than what they served here.
