Loved this place! - Edit
We struggled in Lanzarote with vegan choices that were not just junk food. This place is a god send and the owner, a Belgian lady was incredibly nice. Her sister also owns and is the chef. We came two nights in a row and would have come again if our flight home hadn’t been the next day.
Read moreThe wine was also great and she has a huge selection of Belgian beers which I’m sure will appeal to some.
We had the special on the second night and it was amazing!! They change the menu regularly to try out new exciting dishes.
Pros: Very friendly , Delicious food , Reasonably priced

Horrible service - Edit
I travel a lot and like to go discovering vegan restaurants and have to say that the service in this place was afwul. The narcissistic waiter had the attitude like “what do you even want from me”. I arrived alone and he told me that I can only sit in the corner of the restaurant garden which I actually did. I waited 10 minutes for the menu and when he arrived he’d asked”do you want to see the cards?” and has a bothered face. Hello??! Then it started raining so I asked to move me to a place under a roof and he said “this is a problem” without explaining anything to me, but eventually he did give me another table (when I was there only 5 tables were taken). I wanted to cancel my order in that moment but the other waitress ha just brought it so I stayed. I felt uncomfortable there (as mentioned before, I travel a lot on my own and don’t have any issue with going for a dinner solo). The food was good though.

One of the best vegan restaurants on the island - Edit
We went for both specials (starter and main), chips and flatbread (starter and main too). The specials were very unusual, and were peppers based mainly. We had the blue berry pie for dessert. All starters and mains were freshly prepared and tasted excellent. Very nice ambiance too. The staff were under pressure, as the place was nearly full, but kept things going nonetheless. Pricing was high for the island generally, but the quality was higher. Unusually they have a lot of Belgian beers.

Great food (and beer) - Edit
We enjoyed 3 dinners at Bistro Arbol. The seating is very nice, the food very good, the draft beer too (we didn*t try the Belgium bottled beers). They offer also a daily meal which was also great. The desserts are outstanding.

Excellent - Edit
This restaurant is 100% vegan and offers a large selection of starters, main and desserts. Everything was really good. I had the burger with fries and my partner had the mushroom portobello main. For dessert, we tired the chocolate tart and the blueberry cheesecake and they were both really tasty. They also offer a good selection of drinks (beers and homemade limonade).

We’ll be back! - Edit
Lovely location and atmosphere. Highly recommend. We had the trio of dips for starters and the Buddha Bowl and Tofu Special for main. A great selection of desserts too. We opted for the lemon and poppy seed cake with hazelnut ice cream. The most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had as a vegan.

Excellent food & service in an attractive setting with good vinyl music. - Edit
My friend found this vegan restaurant on the Happy Cow website before we started our holiday to Lanzarote in early June 2022.
Read moreWe went for the day to Puerto del Carmen on Friday 17/6/22 and went to Bistro Arbol that evening.
The restaurant is in a pretty open square with several other restaurants.
We sat in the outside area of the Bistro Arbol.
It is run by 2 sisters who were both very efficient and explained what was on the menu to us. We heard them explaining the menu to other diners and they can obviously speak several European languages.
We had a warm pitta bread and humours and baba ganoush starter - which was delicious. Our main course were mini quinoa burgers with tomato relish in mini buns with chips, which were also excellent.
We shared a pudding of a chocolate brownie with stracciatella ice cream. The brownie was light but incredibly chocolate lay and was the most delicious brownie I have ever tasted, which was beautifully complimented by the wonderful stracciatella ice cream.
We loved everything about Bistro Albright....the food is excellent, the two sisters who run it are attentive and helpful and the decor of the restaurant is lovely as were the great vinyl records the they played while we were there.
Highly recommended and a wonderful place to have an excellent meal.
Pros: Excellent food, Good service, Lovely atmosphere and style
Cons: Slightly pricey

Absolutely Wonderful - Edit
This vegan restaurant has it all - Amazing food, lovely lovely service from perfect hosting sisters Miet and Birgit and the most extensive range of delicious Belgian beers!
Read moreThe menu - which has a staple of around six starters and six mains - always has an additional couple of specials and every option is absolutely delicious!
Sharing is encouraged and you can have your food served in whatever order suits!
There is also half a dozen vegan deserts to choose from if you have room - which often we didn’t as we were too keen to sample as much of the starter and main courses as we could!’
The mushroom soup - when available - is the best soup we have ever tasted and the Pakoras and savoury pancakes are out of this world!
The fries are fabulous and when washed down with s glass of Hopus - even better!
The Bistro is quite small and always full so do try and book ahead if possible!
Just the best restaurant in Lanzarote - vegan or not - and without doubt we WILL return for several visits on our next visit to the island!
An absolute must for vegans!!!!
Pros: Totally Vegan, Lovely Lovely Service, The most fabulous food ever
Cons: None
