Cosy spot and tasty food - Edit
Fully vegan restaurant located in the middle of an outdoor shopping centre. The setting is cosy and relaxing in the evening, with vynils playing in the background.

Set in a lovely square just off the main Puerto del Carmen strip and the only completely vegan restaurant I know of in the area, Bistro Arbol was high on my list to visit.

It’s also a great spot to visit for options that are both gluten free and vegan - a real find!

This wonderful bistro is located in the middle of an outdoor shopping centre. If you see the restaurant called Nino from the road/pavement walk through in to the shopping centre past Nino, down some steps and Bistro Arbol will be on your right. You can come into the shopping centre from another entrance in which case the bistro will be on your left.
Read moreThe bistro itself is so lovely, and has a record player which is played at a very welcome low volume. You can even request an album from their extensive collection for a 1euro donation.
They have a regular menu, a specials board, plus a changing dessert board, and an extensive drinks menu. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and portions just right.

Best vegan in lanzarote - Edit
There are only 3 vegan places in lanzarote and this one had such good reviews that we had to try it. It was indeed just like everyone said, so very good. Every dishes were tasty and not too salty which was very surprising as unfortunately i find that most vegan restaurant have a real issue with salt. All dishes were enough, not too much, so you can really order up to 6 dishes ( 3 starters, 3 main dishes) to share for 2. If you have a bigger group up to 4, you can totally order all starters and main dishes and wont feel full or heavy. Now the desserts are quite particular, a little strange to my taste but it is worth a try. I would totally suggest to try the starter with the cheese. The homemade fries are also really good for all fries/chips lovers. The music is also good and not loud at all for a very pleasant dinner.

So many reviews, we had to go. Loved the ambiance, it's on a tiny square away from the road, so not that busy. Beside the menu they also had quite some specials, so it was hard to choose. Had the miniburgers and budha bowl to share and loved it. We skipped dessert as we already ate to many cakes from the vegan bakery (dulce natural in arrecife) on this island 😁, but the desserts on the menu looked very tempting.

Standout vegan food in Puerto Del Carmen, the place you'll going keep returning to for food. All vegan, a variety of styles across starters, mains and desserts, accompanied with Canarian wines or Belgian beers. The owners are two lovely Belgian sisters who charge around relentlessly serving and smiling you as you sit inside or out against a soundtrack of vinyl music.

A vegan oasis - Edit
Loved this place. Visited with my wife and two young children and it was perfect for us. I got some advice from the Belgian owner on Belgian beer and it was perfect. Loved the blues music vibe and the food is of course excellent. Everything was so tasty, exceeding expectations and is proper bang for your buck. Will definitely return before we head back to the UK.

The best food we ate in Puerto Del Carmen - Edit
Amazing little vegan restaurant in the heart of Puerto Del Carmen. Lovely atmosphere with vinyl being played, Belgium beers and fantastic service. I had a fake- beef burger which was excellent, high quality and the chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. The only thing to note is that it can be on the pricier side for Lanzarote, however the quality of food reflected this which is why we returned on the same trip!

Amazing staff, no request too big and very happy to welcome you into the restaurant. Have nothing bad I can say about Bistro Arbol. They have a specials board and an everyday menu and have an extensive drinks menu. It is situated in a nice busy area so plenty do once you've eaten! I love the indoor/outdoor vibes and will be going again before my Lanzarote trip is over!

This is a little gem in Lanzarote away from the picture card menus, real food cooked fresh and most importantly catering for alternative diets - I can’t have dairy or gluten. The food is amazing and definitely worth a visit, so good we booked a table for the next night as well!
