Serves meat, vegan options available. Burger restaurant with one fully vegan burger on the menu (39-Plant one on me) and two that can easily be made vegan by swapping out the aioli and cheese (Ginger Soy Tofu and Mr. Bean). Salad offerings include tofu as an add-on. Sometimes the house dressing uses honey so be sure to ask. Allergen-friendly (will customize) and source largely from local ingredients. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.

Ho hum vegan options - Edit
It’s great that Bin4 Burger has vegan options on the menu but the mushroom lentil burger and the tofu glaze options are underwhelming, they don’t taste like anyone had thought through and taste tested these flavour combo. The tofu “burger” was just two slabs of tofu, so the burger bun was constantly threatening to split in half. It was under marinated and basically just seemed like was grilled in oil. The plant burger with their house made lentil mushroom patty was overwhelmed by a very sweet and spicy salsa that didn’t make a lot of sense with this kind of patty. There were also tortilla chips in it, not doing a heck of a lot. Neither added up to a delicious burger.
Read moreYou can hack together a vegan burger out of some of the other vegan options but it basically requires an advance degree since there’s no build-your-own menu section, particularly while trying to reverse engineer how much you might over pay despite having the most expensive ingredients removed.
The fries were good and the salad was basic. Tiny piece of dairy cheese was on my salad, not a big deal but not ideal for anyone with allergies. Service was also good.
Pros: They’re trying but still in beta
Cons: Bad flavour combos or lacking flavour

Burgers! - Edit
Modern style chain offering large burger menu, salads and kids menu. Serves one 100% vegan burger, 2 veggie options (easily modified to be vegan) and vegan subs/sides like tofu, cheese and sauces, so you can modify almost any other burger.
Read moreWe ordered the Plant One On Me (vegan) which comes with a lentil mushroom patty, and the Ginger Soy Tofu Burger, subbing the standard aioli for vegan version. The POOM burger was the tastiest. The fries were plentiful but just ok.
Pros: Can easily sub vegan options into burgers, Easy parking, Good service
Cons: Fries weren’t great

Plantilicious burgers - Edit
The Maple St location is just as great as the downtown location! The Plant One on Me (POOM) vegan burger is very tasty as it is filling. Try the other vegan burgers too -- just substitute out regular mayo and cheese for the vegan ones. All are really great -- I just find myself gravitating to POOM.
