Vegan run sanctuary with a part time restaurant - Edit
A must visit if you are in the area, the Big V sanctuary is located in a beautiful location in rural France.
Read moreThe restaurant only opens at certain days and times and booking is a must!
The food is some of the best vegan food you are likely to sample anywhere on the planet, it really is that good.
The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and you can be safe in the knowledge that all money you spend will be going directly towards running the sanctuary.

Best food ever in an unlikely location - Edit
The best vegan meal I've ever had in the least likely location! I had resigned myself to my air bnb kitchen on a family trip to the French countryside, we had fully loaded our car with oatly and vegan Nutella for the trip across the Channel. But a very optimistic and hopeful Google search only went and found this absolute gem in the countryside nearby. A lovely family running an animal sanctuary with many well looked after occupants and plenty of tasty food and hospitality. 100% recommended, if you're in the limousin region of France, it would be criminal not to visit. The cheese was the best I've ever tasted and they have a wonderful selection of vegan wine and desserts.
