Boring vegan options - Edit
Pretty basic vegan options - some loaded fries, tater tots. The vegan fish and chips is no longer on the menu which is what we went in for

When entering it looks like any random pub, with some okay beer choices. The menu looked promising, and we ordered the vegan fish and chips along with some loaded potato skins.
Read moreI honestly was extremely surprised by the taste and quality of the meal. The texture and taste of the fish are amazing! Sides were also good (peas, fries, sauce).
The loaded potato skins were spicy! Pleasantly surprised to get something with a nice spice level when it just has avocado and jalapeno.
Would really go back for the fish and chips

The texture of the 'fish' was maybe the best I've come across, really enjoyable. So glad I got to finish my kids one off 😂
Read moreWe went for the lentil haggis shepherd's pie and it was really enjoyable. I've never had real haggis but my husband has and said it tasted exactly how he remembered.
Pros: Easy to find a seat, Children are allowed up to 8pm, Plug sockets under built in chairs

The banana blossom ipa-battered vegan fish and chips were exactly what we wanted our first night in Edinburgh!! Complete with mushy peas, vegan tartar, and lots of malt vinegar. Finish it off with a pint of ale and a whisky and you’re in Scottish paradise. Then go walk it off on the Royal Mile and get a drink later at the haunted goth punk bar the Banshee Labyrinth!

My table of non-vegans said it was very good! The tartare sauce was a great touch. Many other vegan options on the menu and beautiful to sit in the middle of grass market plaza and eat.

Se trata de un pub de ambientación irlandesa que ofrece opción vegana y vegetariana. Particularmente no lo recomiendo más allá de tomar unas cervezas. La opción de Fish & Chips vegana me decepcionó bastante y las jacked potatoes veganas no aportaban nada especial. Si bien el personal fue bastante agradable y el local está bien (por eso le doy dos estrellas), la relación calidad/precio es mala. #Veganuary

Came with non veg friends because I saw they had vegan fish and chips. The banana blossom “fish” was good, but the chips were soggy, and it came with the tiniest portion of peas. All of us had a very “meh” experience.
