Beautifully Yorkshire tea room - Edit

Betty's is so quintessentially Yorkshire and it's always such a lovely experience.

It's so nice that they've increased the vegan offerings, I tried the carrot cake and it really was delicious. I'm excited to go back and try their vegan afternoon tea!

The staff are always incredibly friendly and so polite.

The cafe itself is nicely decorated.

Nicely vegan friendly - Edit

We came here for brunch on a Sunday, on the basis that almost everywhere else was closed in Ilkley. It wouldn’t usually be my sort of thing but was lovely. The vegan breakfast was nice-all homemade, and coffee was good too. The attention to detail is brilliant, exactly the reason to come here, service was a little slow but otherwise great. We queued but not for long-so worth getting in line. It’s pricey, the vegan breakfast was around £14 but worth visiting at least once-it’s like stepping back in time. There’s at least one vegan option in every section of the menu (breakfast, cake, afternoon tea, sandwich and hot main) plus dairy-free milks.
