Great eggplant parma

Really tasty eggplant parma, chips and salad were also very good. Eggplant was cooked very well and the crumbs were crispy. They could have been saucier IMO. We got the brushcetta also, which was all right with good flavour but a bit soft.

They do also keep some goats, emus and a large saltwater croc in the back. The croc is a rescue according to the comments below, unsure of the goats and emus. The enclosure for the croc felt quite small for an apex predator who normally has hundreds of kilometres to roam. Couldn't help but feel sad for him.

Great venue

Some options on the menu but all I can say is speak to the staff, they are the warmest most welcoming staff and happy to go though the menu with you and see what can be swapped and changed to account for my option of vegan food.

I still ended with the classic egg plant parmy as you can’t go to the pub and not go for a parmy. No word of a lie, the best eggplant parmy I’ve had.

I had my views on the animals they have on premises but after speaking to Dan the manager who looks after them I found out they are all rescue animals including their large saltwater croc who was rehomed after traditional land owners needed him relocated due to attacking their live stock and getting close to your children. Happy to see him alive and thriving in a great enclosure with a great diet rather then a hand bag.

Over all I was surprised and will be back for sure.

Pros: Meal size , Staff , Options

Cons: Can be busy (great atmosphere though)

Good in a pinch

Wouldnt go out of my way to come back but a decent stop over if you're on the road. Vegan parmi option was good, although the vegan option is just the vegetarian option with no cheese. Also be warned, they have a small crocodile in a fishtank.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Vegan option clear on menu

Cons: Captive crocodile , Limited options
