Simple eatery in North Kuta. Serves Balinese food such as tempeh manis, cassava leaves & other greens and brown rice in addition to the usual warung offerings of satay, chick'n gluten, and sosis (sausage). NOTE: Reported September 2020 that sweet buns contain butter. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-9:00pm.

Saved by the Berkah - Edit
I was heading to another vegan restaurant that ended up being closed but I came across Berkah and gave it a shot. I ended up with a big Nasi Campur in front of me for 20k and a friendly English-speaking owner helping me pick out the best options. Really happy I stumbled upon this place :)

budget yum! - Edit
at first I wanted to go to Tri Hita again, but i took the wrong road so came over here instead - what a pleasant surprise!
Read moreboth have a similar premise towards the buffet; you choose what you want with your rice (I don't usually get rice) and the price is similar too (i had a small dessert after, not sure if he charged for it... total was 20K).
staff are friendly and helpful. several tables available.
this place seems to have more packaged fried snacks and drinks available (or at least it's more obvious).
buffet food is quite similar for both, though this one is indeed slightly more spicy--my mouth was really tingling the whole time xD
i am quite happy to return to either place.
SUPER LOCAL!
which might be why they're thinking "what are you doing in Sempidi?!?"
note that there are some mock meats - you could stick to tempe and tofu instead. mock meat is sometimes a bit of a treat for me so a little is ok =)

Options - brown rice and leafy greens - Edit
I go to many vegetarian warungs this side of Bali. I like to pick up food from Berkah on my way home to the Mengwi area from Canggu. I like that they have brown rice and several leafy green and vegetable dishes aside from the usual mock meat offerings. The food can be a bit spicy and have too much seasoning, like all other warungs, but it sure is tasty! The operators are followers of Master Ching Hai.

Cons: There is a dog on a chain beside the warung 😢. , Maybe it isn’t their dog. I should ask them.
