Jewish Deli-cious

Glad this deli is now all vegan. I wanted to try the chicken salad sandwich, but they were out, so I ordered the "New Yorker," which is corned beef, Swiss cheese, and mustard on toasted rye bread. I think they accidentally gave me bacon instead of cheese, but I actually preferred the mistake. Considering the price of the sandwiches, I think they should come with a small side like a pickle or a handful of chips.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: a little pricey

Amazing!

I can’t believe it’s all vegan! Had the lox bagel sandwich and it was divine! The bagel was just like the bagels I’d get in New York — nice, crispy outside, soft, chewy inside. The carrot lox were tasty and the cream cheese was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try the Reuben sandwich. And now I have a local place to get New York-style bagels without paying the exorbitant fees to have them shipped from New York.

Pros: Great food, Fast service, Great variety of options

Check out Henry Higgins Bagels on NE 19th, just north of Sandy. They're kosher, too.

Wow! I’ve never been to a vegan deli before! The tuna melt was amazing. We also enjoyed the No-lox bagel and the No-egg bacon and chz bagel. Matzo ball soup also for the win!

Pros: Everything is vegan , And fresh , Mmmmm

Cons: Not a lot of space to sit down and eat

I might move in

I want to eat everything in this place. It’s SO hard to choose what to get when almost everything is vegan and delish. Grilled sandwiches, bagels and schmear, comfort salads, dolmas, half-sour pickles desserts. They even make their own vegan “lox” out of carrots! It’s like getting a hug from your woke Jewish grandma.

Pros: So many delicious options, Bread is perfect, Vegan “lox”

Amazing!

An instant favorite! Love at first bite. The no lox bagel is bursting with flavor and the mac salad is heavenly. I could eat here every day. Also happy to know they’re going full vegan soon.

Pros: Turning full vegan, Amazing food

Delicious vegan options

Worth the wait to get a reuben! This place is small and the line can get long especially with social distancing but it was worth the wait to get my hands on a reuben. I think it could've had more sauerkraut but otherwise was really delicious. They also have good bagels and vegan cream cheese options. The black and white cookie I had didn't blow me away, so I'd skip that.

Pros: Fresh, Tasty, Affordable

Cons: Small location, Can get busy

Awesome

I have been vegan for a year and a half (never looking back) and one of my favorite special occasion breakfasts was lox and cream cheese. This place has a vegan option that does not disappoint. The bagels are chewy outside, soft inside; when combined with the carrot lox, vegan cream cheese and a hint of dill, makes a wonderful sandwich. My daughter had the “egg, bacon, and cheese” vegan bagel and really enjoyed it. The coffee was good too. Highly recommend.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good customer service , Hard to find food options

Cons: None

Great food

I was really excited to try this place and made sure to stop by on our way to the airport since it was pretty close. We got there at 1pm (they close at 3pm) and the baked good case was almost completely sold out. I was really sad to see there weren’t any black and white cookies. Was very disappointed to see the knishes and latkes are not vegan. Vegetarians can just go to a regular Jewish deli and pick these up so why not make them vegan if you’re going to open a specialty shop? The turkey and bacon club was large and delicious but for $14 should come with a side.

Pros: Some vegan options, Great bagels

Cons: Expensive , Limited street parking , Ditch the dairy and go vegan already

Sooooo good

Had the vegan not lox bagel sandwich and the Ruben! Highly recommend them. Can’t wait to come back and try some other things. Next time, I’ll try to get there a bit early since it’s seemed they were out of a good amount of things at 10 am on a Sunday.

Pros: All sandwiches are vegan, High quality food

Cons: Serves dairy

Cute hole in the wall

This place was so cute and it was DELICIOUS. I couldn’t pick between the not lox or the urban so my friend and I split both and they were so amazing!!!! The lox was carrot and fantastic. Lox was one of my favorite foods so I was SO happy to see it on the men

Pros: Tons of vegan options

Cons: A little spendy (but worth it)

Vegan versions of NY Jewish deli classics!

Great bagel shop, loads of bagels and schmears! As a vegan, I am grateful I can still have veganized versions of classics you might find at a NY Jewish Deli. We had the vegan lox sandwich and vegan whitefish sandwich, both were phenomenal-- can't even choose a favourite! The celery soda was excellent too. The next time we would love to try the lox schmear, vegan ham & cheese, and vegan matzo ball soup. The owner is currently building a vegan bakery and wants to veganize more menu items too-- we are very supportive of these ethical choices and we wish this place all the best!

Pros: Vegan Jewish Deli Cuisine , Unique Experience
