3.5 on a good day, but 4 since it’s all vegan. Blow your diet here. The BBQ sandwich was bomb, and tasted like an entire Midwest platter. Opt in on the fork and knife because the first bite is a mess. The Reuben was nothing to write home about. Cheesecake was fine, and the loaded fries were pretty good, but a bit too busy with pickled mustard seeds and sautéed onions piled over them. (The chao cheese is melted to perfection though.)

The beer is the star here but the burgers only fall slightly behind. We did regular burgers with fries and were extremely satisfied. I highly recommend visiting when in the area you will not be disappointed.

The munch wraps are one of my favorite things in Portland! And the burgers are also stupendous. They have a great atmosphere and so many awesome beers. Also a rooftop patio. A must visit!

Beer, good. Location, fantastic. Food, delicious AND a ton of it. I feel like their munchwraps could be split between two people easily, I made the mistake of eating it all in one sitting because it was so good. If i lived in portland, this would easily be a regular spot and I felt like the prices were reasonable enough to do so!

We’re so glad we were finally able to make it here. Food was fantastic and with the seemingly endless beer flavors, we’ve been convinced that fruity beer can actually be amazing! The Reuben was quite possibly the best Reuben ever made. The pickled potato’s wedges were tasty (get extra sauce). The fries were a bit undercooked, but the Mac and cheese was very good. The cupcake was delicious. Overall, we can’t wait to come and try more.

I didn’t like this location compared to the one in Los Angeles which has a way better food selection, however the decor here is super rad and way cooler. Food is overpriced though, but overall a good place.

Finally got to go to Modern Times and we were met with super friendly staff at the door, super friendly girl behind the bar taking orders. We had the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast tacos and some nitro stouts. The breakfast sandwich and tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had (the sandwich was truly the best to me). The oatmeal stout was phenomenal and everyone working there was so welcoming and friendly. Cool art installation near the restrooms was the cherry on top. Can’t wait to go back again.

This is a rad vegan brewery, which is something my fiancé and I hadn’t seen before. I didn’t eat but opted for a beer flight, which I loved. My fiancé ordered the Reuben and thought that while it was a fantastic sandwich, it wasn’t quite what he was expecting in a Reuben. The staff was friendly and the place was super hip. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Portland!

First time I've enjoyed a Beyond Burger - Edit
Headline says it all. I've had them at several places and thought they were barely palatable. Here, the double burger is incredible. I think this might be my first really luscious burger experiemce ever. The oatmeal stout is also fantastic and had a great tang that set off the burger well.

This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I are regulars and visit a few times a month. We are always impressed with their food- I’ve tried most of the menu and loved everything! Especially the vegan beet and seitan Rueben. We’re not big beer drinkers so I can’t really speak on their beverages, but I have seen some that contained honey, just an fyi. Their decor is already so cute and they will be doing an expansion within the next couple months!

Late brunches are my favorite thing- Modern Times serves brunch until 4! I had the potato chorizo burrito, he had the breakfast tacos. The bartender guided me toward a really great sour beer since they didn't have house made ciders (but had a few ciders from others).

I really love the food beer. Best vegan burger (made with Beyond Burger) that I've had anywhere in the world. The vegan cheesecake is also incredible, as is pretty much everything I've tried here. Their beer is also 100% vegan.
