Fantastic - Edit
With only one night in Jacksonville, I chose Bellwether based on all the amazing reviews. It also happened to be Jacksonville’s vegan chef challenge month. The food and service were fantastic. I absolutely recommend the Korean fried barbecue and house made green curry. The veg’n popcorn chicken and chili pepper boiled peanuts were good but I preferred the Korean fried broccoli . Highly recommended

Definitely coming back - Edit
I came for the end of summer vegan bbq. It was a 4 course vegan dinner and it was amazing. It was my first time visiting, and I’ll definitely be back. Service was great. It’s a cute date spot. Highlights for me was the vegan deviled eggs made with plant milk so it had the texture of an egg. I never had vegan deviled eggs like that. I could have eaten an entire dozen of those things. The dessert was so good too. Everything was very flavorful. There was also an option to add a vegan friendly wine flight to the course.

Flavors were on point. The Korean broccoli and butternut squash risotto was also great. So refreshing to have a more upscale date place where I have a number of things to choose from on the menu.

Quick and Delicious! - Edit
Bellwether was great! Ordered online and they called within 2 minutes to apologize for one item out of stock and worked with me on a replacement.

Yum! - Edit
This place is consistently good and I keep coming back. It seems that they keep adding vegan options and I’m always excited to try their new stuff. They also sometimes have vegan dessert. Definitely one of the best nicer restaurants with vegan options in all of Jacksonville. I highly recommend!

Nice dinner out - Edit
Hubby and I visited tonight for a date and were so pleased. We got the Korean fried broccoli (so stinking delicious) as an appetizer. Hubby got the vegan chick'n served with carrot slaw and turnip cake (so flavorful!). I got the mushroom risotto which also had truffle and arugula (so umami). We will be back to try other things as well and there are some differences to the lunch menu so we will try that menu out as well soon! The waitress was very accommodating to us being vegan. No complaints.

Somewhere in the middle - Edit
It's always nice to find a restaurant that not only offers some vegan options - but have it clearly laid out on the menu as vegan. There were some items on the menu that were vegan - more vegetarian options than vegan. Mains included a superfood salad and a sandwich option. Be mindful- they do run out of sandwiches so I was left with the salad option. The salad itself had lots of leafy greens but it could have definitely done with more volume of toppings.

Really wanted to like - Edit
Very pleasant atmosphere and helpful wait staff. Pleased they had Veg/Vegan/GF options marked on menu, but only one app, one salad and one entree were vegan... Not too bad for the South, though! Oddly, the desert menu was not marked like that and because I didn't inquire, I don't know what the options are for veg/vegan with that menu. I had the charred broccoli as a side and it was delicious. Ordered the Vegan Green Curry for the main course. I unfortunately felt I had to send it back because the sweet potato was raw, and there was barley any green curry sauce included. It was plated beautifully, but I couldn't bring myself to pay $16 for such a subpar dish that mostly consisted of white rice. They were very polite about it and removed it from the bill.

gave it a try - Edit
We were in the area and wanting to try something new! This place has a great atmosphere and they were happy to cater to vegans. They have 3-4 vegan items on the menu but they offer tempeh as a substitute to convert other items. Order at the counter or sit for full service. Overall it was so yummy!
