Vegan mojito and vanilla ice cream - Edit
They offer the usual fruit sorbets (peach was great!) and - a little bit more unusual - vegan vanilla and mojito ice. Bot very nice!

Had varying responses on different days when I asked what was vegan. One person said fruit sorbet and chocolate, another said only granita, and another said none.

I live here & have used them on my vegan food tour. Suddenly, they claimed to have no vegan options! It has to be a poorly trained employee because sorbet is almost always accidentally vegan. I suggest Voglia Matta. It is consistent with vegan options and everyone is well trained on ingredients 🌱

All the fruit flavours and both chocolates were vegan. Plus granita as well. Between 2 of us we had passion fruit, lemon, mango and chocolate. All great. No vegan pistachio but lots of other choices.

All fruit flavors are vegan (and amazing!), also coconut and two kinds of chocolate. Cup with three scoops was EUR 3. Vegan & gluten free cones available. Lovely people, nice outdoor seating area.

Two Dark Chocolate Gelatos! - Edit
The cafe offers about a half dozen fruity sorbets and two dark chocolate vegan gelatos. It is located just over the 2nd bridge between Siracusa and the island of Ortigia so it is easy to find. I’ve been there twice & the team is always friendly and comfortable speaking English. I can’t decide which chocolate is my favorite. I was told one is 60% & the other is 80% cacao. They are both intense, creamy, and delicious. I asked three other gelateria on Ortigia if they had vegan gelato and the answer was a definitive NO! So, don’t pass up this little spot - you may not find another option once you reach the island.

This was so yummy, mixed the Sicilian chocolate (vegan) and raspberry sorbet (also vegan) which is highly recommended.

Amazing vegan ice cream! - Edit
So impressed by the fact there were three (!) vegan chocolate ice creams (yes, this has been mentioned in other reviews already😄) ; as well as several other sorbet style options. We tried all the chocolate options, the best of which was the extra dark - it being unusual and different from standard chocolate ice-creams. Best had with a sorbet to balance the very rich flavour , we had lemon and pear both of which worked very well. Staff were also friendly.

There are three different vegan chocolate favoured ice creams as well as several fruity flavours and a small selection of granita. They do have vegan and gluten free ice cream cones but unfortunately they are single wrapped in plastic.

This place have no less than 3 (THREE!!!) different vegan gelato chocolate flavors and they were all amazing! There were also some fruit flavors which looked very tasty as well.
