A Gem on the WHW - Edit
Stopped for a night in the tent whilst completing the WHW and was very pleasantly surprised to see several delicious sounding vegan options on the menu. Portion sizes looked generous and everything is reasonably priced. We only had breakfast - a vegan sausage and hash-brown bap, and it was good. We also ordered rolls to make our own lunch and they came with vegan spread.

Surprisingly good vegan options - Edit
Tasty sweet potato stew, hummus and fine onion rings. Great to have these options in such a remote place. Friendly staff.

Range of vegan dinner options and good breakfast - Edit
I stayed here whilst doing the West Highland Way in August 2020. When I asked about vegan options, the chef wrote down for me a list of about 5 different meals from the dinner menu. Vegan breakfast included vegan sausages, and they had vegan 'butter'. Also vegan cheese available for sandwiches.

Great dinner options, breakfast a little less - Edit
Had a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans. I think they had 3 vegan options. Had the chili and bean burger with fries and salad and carrot coriander soup (of the day). It tasted so good after a rigorous day of hiking.
Read moreThe staff was very friendly, asked if we were going to have breakfast too so the chef could make something for us. But when we asked in the morning it was a little harder then they made me feel the evening before. It was again a separate menu, but when we chose the full breakfast they told us the sausages weren't vegan after all. So we had porridge with almond milk. And toast. They put butter packages with it which we could tell were from cows milk.
Pros: Good dinner options, Relaxing atmosphere and lively pub, Friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast was a little disappointing , Non vegan stuff offered with a vegan option?

Great little pub on a fab campsite right on the West Highland Way. - Edit
Very helpful staff, knowledgeable about various vegan options for dinner but breakfast is disappointing.

Handy place to grab a bite and a beer after climbing a Munro or as a stop off on the West Highland Way. - Edit
It’s a pub so expect pub grub. Friendly and helpful when asked about vegan options. Not labelled but chef happy to talk me through it. 2 curries were vegan, the soup, chips and a pasta dish. Pretty good selection for somewhere in that location. We camped too. Lovely spot. Watch the midges in season!
