Our new favourite! - Edit
We went for dinner a Wednesday in August, after having found BeerCat here on HappyCow and remembering having seen their sign so many times by the road. Now finally was the time to try it, and it was a marvelous surprise! Upon entering we were stunned by the interior and the atmosphere, an industrial style but yet cozy and elegant. From the diner, you see the brewery. The menu has plenty of variety, and they have a special Vegan menu! The vegan dishes are well composed, including also protein, something that so many restaurants forget. The options are many so difficult to chose. We decided on nachos as a starter. Very tasty and creamy, generous portion and including a rich "boloñese" of black beans and soya. The nachos are of corn so no gluten. The second dish was cheeseburgers with fries. The burgers are Beyond Meat (gluten-free), the buns are high quality and made the same day, french fries are homemade and delicious. The two sauces served with the burgers, homemade fig sauce, and spicy beetroot sauce, really topped the experience. The dishes are quite large and really fill you up but we could not resist trying the vegan brownie and it delivered! Served warm, very creamy and fudgy, rich in chocolate and sprinkled with walnuts ... Yummmm! Of course, the selection of beers made by the brewery is a must to try with the meal! So long story short: we will be back soon! Even if you are gluten intolerant you can enjoy eating here as you will find options and, adaptations can be made by the very kind personnel.
