Yum! - Edit
Knowledgeable staff, they obviously take any vegan concerns seriously. Some beers labelled as vegan, others they quickly looked up for me.

Fried pickles - Edit
I had a meal here as part of a birthday party, I was really impressed by the vegan options and the beer menu.
Read moreI had the vegan spicy burger and frickles, - the burger bap fell apart and the "chicken" burger was okay with the sauce. The fried pickles were whole which I've not had since living in aus, they were pretty good but they should've been served with vegan burger sauce

Not a bad burger but not the best - Edit
It's a nice little venue and we have been before when I was veggie and it was better as I could have the coleslaw etc. There is a few vegan options. I had the hail seitan burger and I'm not sure it was seitan, tasted more like fake chicken. It wasn't the best but it was ok. Way too much bbq sauce, would try it again another time but you can find better places in st Ives.

Great Burger Place - Edit
We tried the Hail Seitan burger, Hickory Seitan burger, onion rings and Sourthern Shroomies. All were very tasty, fresh, crispy coatings were crispy and flavours all round were very good.
Read moreAll of the items were very good examples of what they were trying to be. In all the options here are solid and tasty when looking for vegan options in St Ives (especially if like us you are with a non-vegan group).
(The cocktails here were also great!)

1 Decent Vegan Option - Edit
The fake chickn burger was okay. I enjoyed the soft texture of the burger but it wasnt particularly crispy on the outside. The rest of the meal is very basic. The bun is a good fake brioche bun.

Pros: Soft Textured Burger, Good sauce, Good beer and rum

Below average seitan - Edit
We opted for their Hail Seitan burger (they make their seitan in-house). Burger is best described as a dense block of mock-meat that wasn't particularly flavourful, although the batter was tasty. The cocktails and starter of sweet fried pickles were lovely, but the main was a bit dissappointing. If they improved the seitan recipe it could be a home run. As it stands now however, there are far better vegan burger options in St Ives.

Not the best Seitan - Edit
All of the vegan options are based on their own seitan recipe, which was OK but not the best I've had - by the end of the meal the texture of it became quite chewy and rubbery. Other than that the meal was nice and dirty though - I had that hot seitan burger (which wasn't too spicy) which had battered jalapeños which were nice, and the sweet potato fries and onion rings were also nice. Not sure I'd eat here again though.

Over fried and unpleasant texture - Edit
Lots of vegan options and they sounded tasty, but everything we had was saturated with oil and the texture of the ‘chicken’ was really bad. Tried two small bits and couldn’t stomach any more.

Great seitan burgers - Edit
A few seitan burgers no offer with a few other vegan sides. Clearly marked on the menu and stickered as vegan when the food arrived. Burgers had vegan cheese and vegan ranch sauce. Great to see such a creative range of vegan options and really tasty food

Had a takeaway seitan burger with a side of fried mushrooms. They were made quickly and the staff were lovely! The seitan burger tasted just like chicken. A lovely vegan menu.

A great chilled & welcoming vibe here. It’s quite pricey in my opinion -however, it really is value for money as the food is great. The sweet potato fries are to die for.

The vegan options here are delicious!!!! One of the best burgers I've eaten and my non-vegan boyfriend loved the seitan burger too!!! ♥️♥️♥️( Can't give it 5/5 stars as app says that's only available for fully vegan restaurant but the burger was 👌👌)

Epic vegan junk food! - Edit
If you like big, messy vegan burgers, then this is the place for you!
Read moreI had the ‘Raging Seitan’, and it was actually pretty spicy which was good - I don’t usually find most hot sauces that hot, but this was slathered in a hot sauce that was a really good effort.
The Seitan burger patties are MASSIVE and really tasty.
I also had the Breaded Shroom starter, they were generously sized and delicious. The panko breadcrumbs were so crunchy and the mushrooms juiiicyyyy. Only thing I’d mention was I’m not sure what the vegan dipping sauce was that came with them, as it didn’t taste of anything at all. I think it might have been an attempt at vegan mayo, but was a watery hummus texture. Could have done with some garlic!
Super filling so go with empty tummies!
You will feel sick when you leave, but it will be self inflicted and totally, totally worth it ;)
They have a really decent menu of clearly VG labelled craft beers and other alcohols too, the staff are super cool and helpful, and the restaurant is tucked away has a nice chilled vibe :)

Beer & Chick'n - Edit
Craft Beer & Seitan 'chicken' what a wonderful combination.
Read moreI was very happy to stumble across this restaurant and have all the options available, there are 4 burgers options and 1 salad option as well as a crispy shroom starter.
The food was really delicious and an expansive beer selection. The beers aren't labelled as vegan but this isn't too hard to find out.
I had the Hail Seitan Burger and upgraded to dirty fries, delicious!
We did share the crispy shrooms which were tasty themselves but the sauce was bland, could have done with a different sauce.
Pros: Lots of food choice, Lots of beer choice, Nice venue

Great food - Edit
Great vegan Mains, however no vegan starters or desserts. Having said that, the main I had was so big you wouldn’t need a starter or a dessert anyway. They even had vegan cheese, vegan coleslaw and vegan mayonnaise. Good atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. Would eat there again.
