Amazing food - Edit
Tonnes of vegan options. I had the Greek Salad and plain Bear Homies - both tasted absolutely gorgeous and were a decent portion size.

The staff, owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
Well worth a walk from the city centre.

Just as good I had "Mexican Campfire rice"
It was totally original and yummy.
Followed by watermelon with Mexican spices that made my face pickel.😁
Third time visiting.
The seitan burger was bloody lovely.
Salt and pepper Fries were delicious too.

Best breakfast in Wakefield - Edit
Came here on recommendation of a friend & was not disappointed. Had the vegan brunch stack & house beans which was delicious & set me up for the rest of the day. Decent coffee too & lovely people running it. Will definitely come back when we’re next in Wakey

Top quality American-influenced fast food - Edit
I am a semi-regular customer at Bear Kitchen, and although they sell meat, I've never found myself short of options since going meat-free. The dishes are made fresh in-house, and I've enjoyed everything I've tried; last time I had the bhaji burger. Vegetarians and vegans are well catered for, including via the regularly-updated specials menu, and the server will ask about dietary requirements when showing you to your table. My favourite place in Wakefield to eat out.

Good vegan options - Edit
A small, independent takeaway (and now dine in) serving great food by people who give a sh*t. The vegan options, however, haved dipped over the years. Used to be so many good options e.g. vegan marinara sandwiches/vegan options of daily specials. Now it's just a burger and a couple of salad/side options. Bring back more vegan options and you'll get more custom for sure!
