Les tacos n'ont pas d'option VG pour remplacer la viande. Il n'y a pas de tofu, c'est des plats de légumes qu'on trouve dans tous les restaurants. Les jus de fruits n'ont aucun goût. Et le personnel parle très peu anglais, difficile de poser des questions sur les plats.

We hebben het menu bekeken. De vegetarische kaart is eenvoudig en niet erg uitnodigend. Het bedienend personeel was erg onvriendelijk. We voelden ons niet welkom en zijn dus maar weg gegaan. Ons hotel (Atmaland) heeft gelukkig een goede vegetarische menukaart.

As vegan options seemed scarce in Kep, I headed to Beachfront Cafe for dinner. The mango margarita rimmed with chilli salt immediately caught my eye. Dinner was a little more difficult. The Khmer menu has lots of vego/vegan options but I was hankering for a burrito. After a bit of pointing & gesturing, I ordered the fat burrito without a meat option or cheese but with 2 salsa options & guacamole on the side. And a serve of Khmer stir fried veggies as I love them.

This place is very cheap, has comfy hammocks and is the only place in Kep so far with an extensive veggie menue, not just the usual 2 options of fried rice or fried noodles. The food is nothing special but good enough and the staff is nice!
