HEAVEN in Amman - Edit
Sara's place was reccomended to me by the AirB&B owner I stayed with my last two days in Amman. Being over eaten by fallafels, pita bread and hummus I was so happy to find a proper vegan place to eat! Sara and her brother welcomed me and treated me like a queen, the food, service, milkshakes and the most important absolutely amazing company and chat about absolutely everything. Planned half an hour lunch was extended to few hours, it was very hard to leave! The Shawarma was to die for! Initially I thought the portion was too big and I was concerned I will not manage (well, fortunately was hungry):) Sara makes everything home made with love which you can definitely taste, she makes her own recipes too. Everything I tried at Sara's was absolutely heavenly delicious, but most importantly, I met her - one of the strongest, most passionate, dedicated and inspirational human being that make this world (and definitely her street in Amman) more colourful:)...I wish we could clone her, world needs more Saras! We landed here on our first night in Jordan and Sara was very kind and helpful. The Tofu zinger wrap sustained us for two whole meals and we wish we had the time to come back and try more dishes! The cafe is quaint and has a tonne of good vibes. All the tips go to the cats (literally)!

I ordered Vegan Shawerma and was please with the service and with Samer. I didn't meet the owner, Sara, but felt she is doing god's work by serving vegan food and reducing the suffering of animals.

Expect a warm welcome and delicious food at Bayt Sara. Sara and her brother are the loveliest people. The first time I visited (I've been there twice in a week!), I immediately felt at home. Sara and her brother are so welcoming and kind. Plus, they make delicious food! I'm a vegetarian from Scotland, so very spoiled with vegan and vegetarian food at home, but this is one of the veggie/ vegan best places I've been to anywhere. The vegan shawarma is sooo good! I loved the fresh guava juice too.

Top notch hospitality, delicious meals with a home-cooked flair, and a charming location full of love and light, I can not sing enough praise about this restaurant just off Rainbow street in Amman. The food is really amazing. We had the shawarma and the 'meat'balls with green beans and oh my god, it was so good! I tried to figure out the herbs and spices they use, as they mix different kitchens (Jordanian, Romanian, Syrian and even some italian I believe). A must go! Sara and her brother are really very kind 🥰

Delicious vegan spot in Amman - Edit
I visited Bayt Sara a couple of times, and each time their food was SO TASTY! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very sweet and intimate. Sara and her brother are very warm welcoming, and really do care about their customers. Sara does a lot for local community by raising plastic free awareness, protects animal rights and spreading healthy lifestyle.

I was so happy to find Bayt Sara. The restaurant is very cute, and the selection is very good. I had the shawarma, and my son had the burger. Yummy! I am so grateful I found this place in Amman. The best vegan food I have tasted and I’m from the UK where we have many vegan restaurants. What makes this place special and unique is the positive energy within the restaurant. The work that Sara is doing for the animals and the local community is amazing. Such a lovely place and definitely worth a visit. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. They take care of the many many stray cats in the area, feed them and them them to the vet when needed. Would come back anytime to support what you are doing and enjoy your delicious food. By far my best restaurant experience in Amman! Thank you!

Read moreGerade war ich auf dem Weg dort hin um ein zweites Mal dort zu essen und habe dann bei dem Café "Locals House" zufällig draußen ein Schild gesehen, welches Veganes Essen anbot. Ich bin dann rein und habe eine vegane Gulaschsuppe und den zuckerfreien Schokokuchen gegessen. Beides war sehr lecker uuund Überraschuuuung: die Gerichte waren von BaytSara 🤗
Es gab noch mehr wie Kürbissuppe, vegane Brownies und Milchalternativen...
