Incredible restaurant doing incredible work for the animals of Jordan. I had the shawarma and chocolate cake, both of which were fantastic and enough to bring home for a second meal. The owner was very kind and accommodating. A must visit in Amman!

Read moreIl locale è carinissimo e accogliente. Abbiamo preso un tofu zinger da dividere in due e una fetta di torta al cioccolato. Le porzioni sono generosissime ed era tutto super buono! I dolci sono fatti in casa dalla mamma, anche lei persona squisita.

We shared a crispy tofu sandwich which was excellent…..enough for two! The detox green drink was delicious and the tea uniquely good. Lovely owners doing amazing cat care and rescue too. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience at lunch today. We were presented with a feast of truly delicious food and the warmest welcome by both humans and kitten. Visit for great food and to support the vital work being done to care for Amman’s street cats ❤️ immediately added to my favourites on HappyCow, truly deserving of being in the world’s top ten vegan restaurants for quality of food and all the community work being done by Sara and family

Sara was so hospitable and kind, it was such a joy to meet you! The food was delicious, I was served large portions so great value for money whilst being tasty and high quality meals. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, especially with the kittens!

Today, we had the privilege of meeting the chef at Bayt Sara, who is not only a culinary expert but also an environmental and animal rights activist. Learning about her significant efforts towards these causes made our experience truly wonderful. The vegan Shawarma we tried was not only delicious but also satisfying, and the green juices complemented the meal perfectly. The warm and friendly atmosphere at Bayt Sara made everyone feel extremely welcome.

As in the title it feels totally different It is run by a family and you feel like a family there, the way the owner shows you the menu how she's trying to help you in anything! How they feed over 150 cats around the restaurant it feels more than home

Vegan weekend in Amman - Edit
I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last weekend. To say I was pleased is like saying nothing - it was absolutely delicious. The reviews that appear here about the size of the food portions are not exaggerated at all. The portions are very large and leave your belly full for a long time. I had the opportunity to eat shawarma, a crispy tofu sandwich and, on the second day, lasagne and chocolate cake, which stole my heart. The pleasant atmosphere and delicious food was taken care of by Samir (I hope I remember your name correctly - please correct me if I am wrong😄). An extra nice touch was the cat, which I had the opportunity to host on my lap during my second visit to the restaurant 🩷 I highly recommend this place, to vegans and not only. If you want to leave the restaurant satisfied, full and at the same time make a contribution to help the stray cats - this is the place for you! Warm greetings from Poland and hopefully see you soon!

A wonderful evening in Amman! - Edit
Today we had the pleasure to meet Bayt Sara’s chef and environmental & animal rights activist and to learn about her huge work towards the cause. It was a wonderful experience. Vegan pioneer in Amman - Edit
This small restaurant is located in a upcoming street near Rainbowstreet. There are some cool boutiques next to it. Owner Sara is an animal rights activist and feeds over 160 stray cats and funds a project for neutering cats. The food is amazing and insane portions! Cozy bags to sit on and enough cats to cuddle. Keep up the good (and much needed) work Sara!

Lovely little cafe, with a full vegan menu, some of the portions are huge so if Sara says for sharing you really dont need anymore. all freshly made by Sara, who also feeds and provides medical attention to over a 100 street cats.

The whole experience at Bayt Sara is excellent. The food and juices were delicious, staff warm and friendly, and cats very welcoming. Portion sizes are so big that we took half of it away to eat for our next meal. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Amman.

We visited during our trip to Jordan. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff very welcoming. The food was very good (the portions are so big that we took half of it away to eat the next day!) Any tips go to protecting the cats. If we are ever in Jordan again we will definitely go back

Der Weg dorthin ist steil. Das ist aber Amman. Google hatte Probleme es zu finden. Ich habe shwarma bestellt. Dazu bekam ich unaufgefordert Wasser. Das Essen schmeckte mir leider nicht. Das waren Soja Bällchen in eine süße Sauce. Das orientalische Gewürz der verwendet wurde schmeckte es mir nicht. Geschmacksache. Die Portion war für zwei Personen. Auf der Speisekarte stand 8 Jod. Kassiert wurde von mir 10 Jod. Ich wollte sowieso 10 Jod geben für Katzenfutter. Sara und ihr Bruder füttern Strassen Katzen. Davon gibt es in Amman sehr viel. Das geht natürlich ins Geld. Ich komme gern wieder, bestelle aber was anderes. Das Lokal ist sehr einladend.
