Suck a wonderful experience! - Edit
I've tried it three times and every time they amaze me with the portion sizes!😂 The burger is literally the biggest one I've ever seen! They even put extra sauce without you asking! And oh my god their homemade mayo is out of this world! The chocolate cake is actually my fav as it's not very sweet I've also got a present with my latest order, it was chocolate pb banana ice cream just what you need in this hot weather!😋

Amazing! - Edit
We ran into this place by accident and ended up having a great time. The food is great, quality and portion. The dessert is delicious. The owners are a treat to talk to and they gave us so many recommendations on things to do here that we didn't hear about. If you're in town, you absolutely have to come here.

Great taste and quality - Edit
After a few months of living in Jordan, I finally got to try shawarma (vegan, ofc)! I also took my non-vegan/vegetarian friends there, and they also loved it. What I liked the most was that everything we tried there (shawarma, zinger, milkshake, chocolate-banana desert) tasted great. You could also feel the quality of the ingredients. Also, the owners are really friendly, making you feel welcome there. I highly recommend the place when in Amman!

Sameer is nice person who serves us the best with his vegan food, shake and desert. Being vegetarian, it was treat for me and food which i will always remember. Two local gentlemen are with me who never taste vegan food before are now fond on it and today again we are going there ans meet Sameer to taste his best and tasty vegan food.

MUST VISIT IN AMMAN! - Edit
Highly recommend that you check out Bayt Sara when in Amman. Everything on the menu is vegan and they have a vegan shawarma (which was INCREDIBLE and huge- you can share for 2 people- unless you are SUPER hungry). We enjoyed a strawberry milkshake as well. The food is fresh, delicious and fairly priced. Wish we could go to try the rest of the food as I imagine it's fantastic.

Vegan Oasis in Amman! - Edit
Bayt Sara is a very cozy and welcoming restaurant. In the city and country that just serves water in plastic bottles as a norm, it was so refreshing to just sit back and not to worry that you will be served anything in plastic. It was a great start. The brother of the owner explained the menu in detail and everything sounded so good it was hard to choose. We had vegan shwarma and "meat" balls with spinach. The food was delicious! The fake/soya meat in both dishes had a great consistency and was not dry. The spinach was perfect! We enjoyed our meal a lot. The portions are big so bring a container for leftovers and if you want to have dessert! Amazing experience overall!

Best Vegan food ever! 🌱💚🤤😋 - Edit
Absolutely one of the best vegan food that I ever had while travelling!
Read moreThe food is incredible, all handmade and 100% vegan and cruelty free! It is the first 100% vegan restaurant in Jordan!🌱💚🥰😋🤤
Sara is just the most welcoming, friendly, kind, compassionate, empathic and ethical human! She made us feel so welcome and treated us so well! We absolutely love everything about her cafe, great taste in music, incredible smell, peaceful a environment, great energy and amazing kind people and costumer service! The food is just soooo tasty and delicious, all handmade from tofu to the vegan mayo, she makes all herself!
Additionally, she is an animal rights actvist, being a huge voice for all animals species in Jordan! She is organising the first raising awareness for animals rights in Jordan, plus she organised the first vegan event in Jordan happing in July! She also helps over 100 cats living in the smear by streets! She is just such a wonderful soul and human being making a difference in this world! We felt very lucky in meeting her! 🥹💚
We ordered the ‘Vegan Zinger’ (absolutely my favourite) which is crispy homemade tofu with green salad, tomatoes, and the best vegan garlic mayo that she makes all herself, this was all mind blowing and I could eat it everyday in my life! We also ordered the ‘Vegan Shawerma’, which is soya bean based “chicken” flavoured, wrapped in Sharla bread, with homemade mayo, plus side of pickles. Also, we had ‘Vegan Meat Balls with Green Peas, which are homemadd soya “meatballs” in read sauce with Romanian sautee greens peas recipes! To drink we had ‘Vegan Milkshake’ sugar free very natural and delicious, we ordered the strawberries and banana, it was so good! All food were absolutely delicious and the prices are great, as I they are very large portion!🤤😋🌱💚👏🏻
Bayt Sara is in the right of the heart of the Rainbow Street in Amman with lovely street for walks and nice shops, bars and places to take nice photographs.
We cannot wait to be back to Amman and Bayt Sara is a must to visit while you are in Amman, Jordan!
Pros: Only pros 💚💚💚

Good food - Edit
Good food, a bit pricey but once your food arrives and you see the huge portions it's ok. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have my top 2 choices that I saw on the menu before hand and was looking forward to (the lasagne and the baked crepes) and also the chocolate smoothie. You could also hear the microwave beep (the kitchen is right behind the seating area without a door), I get that you can't make everything fresh but hearing the microwave beep takes away from the atmosphere a bit. Other than that it was delicious, huge portions, would've loved to see some dessert on the menu (other than the one banana chocolate ice cream)

Dear Bianca, we are very sorry that we didn't had all the items on our menu as we are cooking a small amount every morning around 5 diferent dishes as the tourist period is a bit lower now because of the weather is very hot ... our work is based on people from out as here we are trying to grow our vegan community slowly 💚About the microwave we are using just for our vegan meatballs as we can't heat them different.Next time when you visit us the desert is on us (today we have the chocolate cake if you are still around will love to see you ) hope next time will make you more happy 💚🙏enjoy your trip ...and if you will be in town will love to have you in our first Vegan festival ever and be part of it 💚

@baytsara no no, we really enjoyed the food and had a great time, and of course a small business in the off-season can't have all dishes all the time. The food was delicious and we'd recommend your cafe to everyone! All the best to you 💚💚

amazing ambience! - Edit
This small and beautiful restaurant really makes you feel at home. Sara, the owner, is super kind and speaks English fluently, if you’re a tourist or something. Portions are really big and represent the price well, so be prepared to share or take away! Something that really impressed me is how the restaurant engages with the community— Sara & crew singlehandedly is supporting and spaying/releasing 150 cats in Amman, which is amazing!
