Vegetarian German Fare - Edit
We really want to have vegetarian German food in Leavenworth and we found it here. We ordered the the Bavarian Sausage Platter with a vegan sausage, spatzel and cabbage. We also ordered a large pretzel. I usually do not care for processed vegan meats. They usually make me feel awful afterward but both my husband and I loved this one and felt great afterward. I mentioned this being vegetarian vs vegan since I am thinking the spatial might have some dairy in it. I am not sure about the pretzel.

Yummy But Typical - Edit
The most filling option is the veggie brat with a side or fries or lettuce instead of the spatzle. It was good but nothing extraordinary. Considering how limited vegan options are in this town it was nice to eat here. There was a nice atmosphere and the staff were really nice as well.

Hearty Vegan Meal! - Edit
The staff was kind, knowledgeable and very efficient. Asked about vegan options and was provided not only options but the strategy to get the most bang for our buck. Vegan items not labeled but when we specified we were vegan the staff was helpful in putting together an amazing meal and knew what to check for when we had questions. To start ordered Pretzel (take off butter and side cheese, add side salt, Chipotle Mustard and Stone Ground Mustard). Then for our meal we got Brussel Sprouts, Sweet Potato and Regular Fries, Beyond Sausage (ordered way a side instead of the meal) with Sauerkraut, Curry Ketchup, Chipotle Mustard, Stone Ground and Dijon Mustard.

Your typical beyond burger or sausage. Nothing spectacular or imaginative, but if you're a group of carnivores, you'll be able to eat something.

I found the manager to be very friendly when I reached out to her to talk about vegan options. She was very forthright about cross-contamination, if that bothers some folks. She said:

However, if we happen to be extremely busy at the time of request we may not be able to. We also have several entree salads which are prepared to order and could have the meat left off or substituted for beyond sausage. We also have a new menu item our blackberry broccoli. The beyond burger bun is vegan, the beyond sausage is served as a platter with a side of sauerkraut (Vegan) and a side of spatzle with a creamy mustard sauce (not vegan) but could be subbed out for a salad, french fries or sweet potato fries which do not contain animal products but are cooked in the same fryer as items like chicken strips.”
