Brunchy feeling - Edit
I skipped breakfast so this place was a good compromise. It's small but cosy. If you need sweet and salty dishes at once it's the perfect place. The food is very tasty and not expensive.

So good we went back (a further two times!) - Edit
Would definitely recommend this place. First visit there we had an ace breakfast of banana and buckwheat pancakes, a smoothie bowel and the most amazing vegan croissant - these are a big miss for me since changing diet so I absolutely loved finding this on the menu! Coffee (with Oatly) was superb. We were back a couple of days later for coffee to go, and then back for a third and final visit for lunch. Pancakes again (as they were so good!) and a fantastically tasty soup. Lovely place - strongly recommend

Good breakfast - Edit
Me and my partner shared the vegan breakfast for two on a Saturday morning. Really enjoyed the experience of this (guessing here) family run café. The food was really good and even though service was slowish (place was full) we didn’t mind because the café was so sympathetic and it had a genuine atmosphere.

Very nice food! Selfmade, fresh. Tiny kitchen, little bit chaotic, order takes long, always full, retro living room 70th design

Wouldn't go back - Edit
We were really looking forward to trying this place because the menu looked good! Very disappointing. I had the crispy tempeh sandwich and my husband had the Dutch Weed Burger. The tempeh sandwich was not crispy at all, all cold, scant pieces of tempeh doused in an uninspiring sauce. Way too many seeds and bits of greens all over it for my liking for this kind or sandwich. My husband meal also had the same greens everywhere, chives cut coarsely and bits of rocket. Not imaginative or very flavourful. His weed burger was a massive disappointment. We have loved the Weed Burger when we've had it elsewhere. It's supposed to by grilled or browned but it looked like it had been put in the microwave or something, only luke warm, the bun was not warmed or grilled, no tomatoes or proper lettuce as it should come with (according to the picture of what a Dutch Weed Burger is supposed to look like). The side salad of quinoa was OK. The coffee was really weak. My ayurvedic Bliss Winter tea was nice.

Tasty vegan and gluten free food - Edit
Came here for breakfast - the menu clearly marks the vegan and gluten free options. The buckwheat pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup were super tasty. Number of cakes, including raw treats were also available.

We've been to B&L twice for their vegan brunch. You get to enjoy a buffet with a good selection of options: soup, salads, breads, spreads, pancakes and desserts.

Lovely vegan breakfast - Edit
We found Beter & Leuk on happy cow, and decided to go for a big breakfast on our first day in Amsterdam. Two vegan breakfast options, both sampled by our group were very nice! Buckwheat pancakes with lots of fruit, nuts, seeds and syrup were delicious. The smoothie bowl also got good reviews from my friends! Good coffee with a selection of vegan milk, including oat milk (a rarity in UK cafes, so a pleasant surprise!) Staff were friendly, would definitely recommend! Their lunch menu looked good too, lots of vegan options.

Quick lunch in between meetings - Edit
Used the App to find this spot, even though in Amsterdam the street offered some paid parking spots. I was the only man in the restaurant, and as usual a very international group of visitors. The staff was really kind, I ordered a coffee and the Weed Burger. Both were really nice, although the burger had just a little to much sauce on it to my taste. Quite an enjoyable quick lunch, will hopefully be able to visit again soon.

worth the visit! - Edit
We had our best vegan burger even. it's definitely worth the visit. we recommend it also for meat eaters, they will reconsider turning vegan after eating the burger hahahaha the rest of the menu is also good, half of the options are vegan, and they make delicious juices. The staff is nice and helpful.

perfect little cafe. exactly the type of place I will love to return to! - Edit
Love finding these types of cafes here in Amsterdam. Delicious and creative food. The side that came with my vegan sandwich was so large I was able to take it to go and eat it later! I got the sandwich with the homemade nut based tzaziki spread. I love the atmosphere with nice little gift items for sale. Perfect cute place! Will be back.

weed burger - Edit
Had a fresh juice an "weed burger" an it was the best burger I've had! Very juicy an meaty, not dry at all. Came with a lentil nut salad in the side. The cakes were also lovely an they did a great soya flat white. The perfect lunch stop.

We went here for the Easter brunch and were really happy with the choices. The buffet was vegan except for hard boiled eggs. None of the dishes contained soy. There was plenty of food and all of it was quite tasty. The staff were excellent!
