Has lentil based bread that's suitable for gluten free diets. Staff will advise vegans as to which sauces are non dairy. There is a stand eating point and a shoes free area. Bashi speaks English and German. Open Mon-Sat 11:00-20:00.

Lecker, günstig, kleine Auswahl, sitzen auf dem Boden

An niedrigen kleinen Tischen und auf sehr flachen Stühlchen sitzt man fast auf dem Boden, was eine spezielle Atmosphäre macht. Insgesamt finden nur wenige BesucherInnen Platz, die sich teilweise zum Zeitungslesen einzeln einfinden. Viele Stammgäste, die sich teilweise auch kennen.
Die Auswahl veganer Speisen ist klein, aber alles ist lecker, es geht schnell und es ist günstig. Für ab und zu völlig ok. Für einen häufigeren Besuch hätte ich gerne eine größere Auswahl.

What a joke

I wish I could give a higher review because the food was good. But the [censored] working here was so mean both times I went in. It was awhile ago so hopefully he’s not there anymore. He slammed down lids and yelled for no reason.

good place

I like the food. It is a good place to go and to is not expensive. The Daal and The Thali are amazing. For me the bread tasted a bit old. But I will come back :)

Needs improvement

Small place with very limited seating options, mostly bistro tables. Atmosphere therefore not very relaxing or inviting.
Food tasted good and there is plenty of choice - unfortunately very limited vegan options for the sauces.
Downside was the friendliness - it appeared that returning customers were greeted and treated quite friendly with a small talk whereas walk-in or first time customers like us did not encounter a lot of attention which did not make us feel welcome. What a pity. S

Excellent food & a good place to chill-out

Excellent food for very reasonable prices in this casual and nice diner. Various tasty dishes: Try the "Dahl" - regular or large plate. Always freshly prepared. Dine-in, alfresco and take-away. Definitely a great choice!
