Many vegan tacos - Edit
Menu system to order is a little confusing and overwhelming when you’re hungry, but allows you to either pick chef recommendations for tacos or build your own. Menu is clearly labeled with which ingredients are vegan or vegetarian. They had a few different vegan “protein” options including sweet potatoes, portobellos, tofu, and black beans so definitely wasn’t bored with the choices. Lots of different combinations are possible!

Also though I haven't been back to visit since going vegan, I remember the tacos being absolutely delicious, and the menu is totally customizable

This place has several vegan tacos and a few that can be made vegan, plus it often has a vegan special taco. You can order (and/or make substitutions) on existing tacos or build your own. Taco bowls also available. Hard corn, soft corn, and flour tortillas are all vegan, as are most of the sauces.

Good margaritas. Vegan options are marked when you build tacos - portabella and a yummy tofu. They even had a manager special vegan taco when I visited. The decor is fun and a local artist did the murals.

Bland veg options - Edit
I appreciate that they have veg options in the menu, but they’re not all that tasty. They’re certainly not bad, but the vegan options seem to be developed by someone who isn’t vegan and relies on the flavors in meat to make the meal. Guac and drinks are good, though and the patio is very nice.

Good build your own taco place - Edit
The restaurant is a build-your-own taco restaurant. When we went they had two vegetarian replacements for the "meat," but then many other options that were vegetarian. They seems to have special tacos that change regularly, some of which are vegetarian. No tempe when I went.
Read moreEverything we had was good, with the exception of the guacamole which was very poor given the quality of the other items.
The decor was interesting with well done murals on all the walls. Our service was a little slow, but otherwise good and friendly.
The beer and cocktail selection was very strong with a number of good beers, a lot of taquilla, and interesting cocktails.

I think this place is okay but I don't really get the hype. Good, cheap vegetarian tacos. Build you're own - kind of the happy dog of tacos (except now I believe there really is a happy dog of tacos in lakewood). Biggest disappointment - the margaritas. Seriously disappointing when compared to momocho, lopez, or johnny mango's.

tasty and cheap - Edit
Came in on a Sunday and they were also serving a brunch option. They were no longer serving any tempeh or seitan tacos when I went, only tofu. They have two vegan taco options on the menu plus a build it your own option which is what I chose. Very delicious and a very good price. Wait staff was really friendly. Also a great tequila and alcohol menu.
