We had such a great time at this restaurant. The owner, Khun Om is the funniest and loving vegan restaurant owner we have ever met. She makes her food from scratch and it is just great, home cooked style food. She ran out of cheese but managed to give us a few slices of what she had left for cooking and it was so nice. Had an absolute wonderful dinner here and recommend it to anyone in Bangkok 🤩

This is HANDS-DOWN my all time favourite restaurant! What’s not to love?? The owner, Taksini, is hilarious, kind, loving, and welcoming. The place is comfortable, cozy, and friendly. Every dish is INCREDIBLE and made with care. The Barefood cheeseburger literally brought tears to my eyes the first time I tried it. ALL the cheeses are amazing.

Read moreOk so location first.. It's probably a 10-15 minute walk from the Ekkamai BTS on Sukhumvit 61, so easy to find.
The menu is 100% vegan and everything is made in house including their famous cheeses, which are just phenomenal!
The menu is about right in terms of number of items and I found it difficult to choose as everything sounded so damn good!
The first person I met on arrival was the owner and she was super friendly. She let me try their own brewed Kombucha and some of the cheese and it was sublime! Vegan cheese can be so hit and miss but they have definitely nailed it here!
In the end I went with the Smokey & Spicy burger and I've got to say that it was the best vegan burger I've ever had and believe me I've had a few! Lovely presentation and a taste explosion. Even the burger bun was made in house and tasted really fresh!
The interior is really cool with a super chilled vibe. They have a big table that encourages interaction with other diners which is nice and they have some games you can play.
I really can't fault this place and If you're in Bangkok then you need to go!
I'm already looking forward to going back again, and again and again!

This place is legendary. We went there with a couple of friends and had the most amazing time. Definitely some of the best vegan food I've had, ever. We tried the Cheese Burger, the pasta, spicy chickpea salad, the lasagna (godly) and the vegan cheese platter. You NEED to try the vegan cheese platter and i cannot stress this enough. it needs to be tried. I can't believe I've lived my whole life without it so far but I am definitely going back for it. It's homemade, with regional ingredients and lots of love, same as all the other dishes. The lovely lady who runs this place is incredibly open and friendly, chatted with us a lot and made us feel like we were right at home. The whole atmosphere of this place is incredibly cozy and all of us (those with vegan and with omnivore diets too) were thoroughly impressend. A BKK stay without a visit here isn't complete in my opinion!

Can I say it again? Vegan cheese. I highly recommend the vegan cheese platter. We even bought some of the truffle nut cheese to take home. Our non-vegan friend was also extremely impressed.

We tried the mushroom porchini with a whole grain pasta, the spicy burger, the cheese burger, chickpea salad, and the scrambled tempeh, a brownie, and the fruitcake. All were great and we could taste the quality of the ingredients.
The restaurant is small with a large family style table in the center, bar seating, and outside seating. Very cozy.
The staff was very informative and knowledgeable about the options.
Please note they are closed on Sunday and Monday.
Pros: All vegan, quality ingredients, Offers classes and events, Portion sizes are filling

The building is old and the Polish up would take good price to renovate. I assure you that our humble non commercial kitchen is kept cleaner than you would imagine. But I can see my style not being modern and contemporary could be a turned off. As I like to collect second hands items and we do resale as well.

Read moreI had the barbecue burger, the brownie and some vegan cheese. The cheese is maybe the best artisan vegan cashew nut cheese I've ever had. Most of the ones I've tried before had been grainy, but this one was smooth just as cheese made from animal milk is. Fantastic umami flavors guaranteed!
The hospitality was fantastic - On my way to Barefood I got stuck in the rain and arrived soaking wet. The staff gave me a T-shirt to wear so that I could enjoy my dinner with some dignity.
I'm super happy I came to this place and I can't wait to come back again when I'm in Bangkok next time!

It was delicious. Simple but tasty and yet extremely filling.
The lady (maybe she is the owner) is extremely helpful and friendly. The place may not look like much as the tread these days is to make it look hip and modern (like Broccoli Revolution also in Bangkok) but I actually like this place and the food better. Perhaps I see her passion and soul into it. Many other places are run by staff who only work there for money not into the passion and love of plant base diet.
As we are new in Bangkok, I also asked her about buying her home made burger patties. She was very good at explaining it all to me - how to buy and pay and how long to keep them at home for maximum freshness.
I love good food. But I love the love and passion behind it even better.
