Incredible fondue with the added bonus of it being vegan.

Florentine, our waitress was incredible with perfect English. Our table was next to a log fire with settees on two sides. The place was buzzing with laughter and cheer. We had high expectations because a work function was supposed to happen there and I specifically phoned to ask if I could bring a coop vegan fondue to not feel left out. I was told the chef was working on a recipe. The work function was cancelled due to Covid and so my husband and I went to try it out. We were blown away. The texture and tastes were shockingly good. We started with an orange, ginger and soup - devine. Salad as second course with delicious vegan dressing. The fondue choices were plain, truffle and chili. It’s eat all you want and since the fondue was cashew nut based there were no saturated fat. Wait what? Healthy fondue?!?!? Go there but book months in advance if you want a Friday or Saturday. The restaurant is only open in the winter so perfect after skiing. The ambiance is so much like a âpre ski chalet. There were large and small groups so a real mixture. Two birthday were happening last night so lots cheer. A definite yes from Daniel and me.

Pros: Lots of vegan fondue fondue choices , Fantastic service , Great atmosphere

Cons: Our taxi got lost so leave early , Booked months in advance for a Saturday , Must specify you are VEGAN when booking
